It’s that time of year again. Spring is in the air and that means baseball season is just around the corner. The college game is always exciting to watch and this year is shaping up to be another great one. With that said, let’s take a look at my NCAA Baseball Predictions: Who Will Win It All?
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament Predictions
The 2019 Caa Baseball tournament starts on Friday, May 31 and ends on June 26 at the College World Series in Omaha. Here are my predictions for who will win it all.
The first thing to know about the NCAA Baseball Tournament is that it is single elimination. That means that if a team loses, they are out of the tournament. The second thing to know is that there are four regions and each region has 16 teams. The top four seeds in each region get to host a four-team, double-elimination regional tournament The winners of each regional tournament then advance to a best-of-three Super Regional The eight Super Regional winners then advance to Omaha for the College World Series
Here are my predictions for who will win each region:
East Region:
1. Florida
2. Georgia Tech
3. Stetson
4. ECU
Florida will win the East Region because they are the best team in the region and they are hosting the regional tournament. Georgia Tech is a close second, but I don’t think they will be able to beat Florida in a best-of-three series. Stetson and ECU are good teams, but I don’t think they are good enough to make it out of the East Region.
West Region:
1. UCLA
2. Oklahoma State
3. Cal State Fullerton
4. San Diego State

Who Will Win The 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament?
With the college baseball regular season winding down, it’s time to start thinking about which team will win the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
The past few years have seen some upsets in the NCAA tournament with lower-seeded teams making deep runs and even winning it all. So who will be this year’s Cinderella team?
Here are a few predictions for the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
-The top-seeded team in the tournament will make it to the Championship game but ultimately lose to a lower-seeded team.
-A team from the SEC will win the tournament.
-A team from outside of the power conferences (ACC, SEC, Pac-12, etc.) will make it to the College World Series
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament The Favorites
The 2019 NCAA baseball season is in Full Swing and there are a few teams that stand out as the favorites to win it all.
The first team that comes to mind is the Vanderbilt Commodores They are currently ranked No. 1 in the country and have been near-perfect this season, boasting a record of 49-10. Vanderbilt has one of the best pitching staffs in the nation, led by ace right-hander Kumar Rocker. The Commodores also have a potent offense that is led by preseason All-American Austin Martin. Vanderbilt is the clear favorite to win the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
The second team that stands out is the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets They are currently ranked No. 5 in the country and have been one of the most consistent teams all season long Georgia Tech has a well-rounded team with a great pitching staff and an explosive offense. The Yellow Jackets also have a lot of postseason experience, which could prove to be invaluable come tournament time. Georgia Tech is a dark horse candidate to win the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
The third and final team that stands out as a favorite to win it all is the UCLA Bruins They are currently ranked No. 6 in the country and have been one of the most talented and disciplined teams all season long. UCLA has a pitching staff that is anchored by All-American right-hander Ryan Garcia, who has been nothing short of dominant this season. The Bruins also have an offense that features several potential first-Round Draft picks, including shortstop Matt McLain and outfielder Michael Toglia. UCLA is a dangerous team that has all the tools necessary to win the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament The Underdogs
As the 2019 NCAA baseball tournament gets underway, there are a few underdogs that have a chance to make some noise and upset some of the top seeds. Here are a few teams to keep an eye on:
Iowa – The Hawkeyes are a dangerous team that can score runs in bunches. They are led by Big Ten Player of the Year Trevor Larnach, who is one of the best power hitters in the country. If Iowa can get hot at the right time, they could make a deep run in the tournament.
Florida Atlantic – The Owls have been one of the best teams in the country all season long. They are led by All-American pitcher DJ Jeffries, who has been lights out all season. If Florida Atlantic can get their pitchers going, they could make a run to Omaha.
UCLA – The Bruins are always a dangerous team in the tournament because of their pedigree and history of success. They are led by All-American catcher Gavin Lux who is one of the best hitters in the country. If UCLA can get hot offensively, they could make a deep run in the tournament.
2019 NCAA baseball tournament Sleepers
The 2019 NCAA baseball Tournament is just around the corner, and we here at Baseball America have predictions for every team in every region. We also have a few sleeper teams that could make a run to Omaha.
In the West Region, we like Arizona State as a sleeper. The Sun Devils didn’t make our top eight, but they have a good mix of experience and young talent. They also have one of the best players in the country in Spencer Torkelson.
In the Midwest Region, we think Indiana could be a sleeper. The Hoosiers have a lot of experience and are led by All-American catcher Josh Stowers. They also have a solid pitching staff, which should help them in the tournament.
In the South Region, we like Georgia as a sleeper. The Bulldogs have an experienced team that is led by All-American candidate Aaron Schunk. They also have a good mix of power and speed, which will help them in the tournament.
Finally, in the East Region, we like Louisville as a sleeper. The Cardinals have a young team, but they are led by All-American candidate Brendan McKay. They also have a good pitching staff, which should help them in the tournament.
2019 NCAA baseball tournament Dark Horses
The 2019 NCAA baseball tournament is just around the corner, and there are a few dark horse teams that could make a run at the title. Here are a few to keep an eye on:
1. Florida State Seminoles
With an impressive 44-17 record, the Seminoles are no strangers to success on the diamond. They’ve been to the College World Series three times in the last six years, and their experience could give them an edge in this year’s tournament.
2. Stanford Cardinal
The Cardinal have flown under the radar for much of the season, but they have all the ingredients of a team that could make a deep run in the tournament. They have excellent pitching and a potent offense, and they’re also battle-tested, having played in one of the toughest conferences in college baseball (the Pac-12).
3. Indiana Hoosiers
The Hoosiers are another team that has quietly put together a very successful season They’re led by senior All-American Luke Miller, who is one of the best hitters in college baseball If Indiana can get hot at the right time, they could be a tough out for any team in the tournament.
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament Cinderella Stories
In every NCAA Baseball Tournament there’s always at least one Cinderella story A team that no one expected to make a run deep into the tournament, but somehow manages to pull it off. This year’s NCAA Baseball Tournament is no different. Here are three Cinderella stories that could make a run in the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament First Round Matchups
It’s that time of year again. The time when college baseball teams around the country compete for a chance to win the National Championship The tournament is single elimination, so every game counts. Here are the first round matchups for this year’s tournament.
(1) Florida vs. (4) Florida State
(2) LSU vs. (3) Mississippi State
First up, we have the top-seeded Florida Gators taking on in-state rival Florida State Seminoles The Gators come into the tournament as the favorite to win it all, but the Seminoles will be no pushover. This should be a great game between two evenly matched teams.
Next up, we have another SEC matchup between LSU and Mississippi State The Bulldogs are coming off a hot streak and they will be looking to upset the Tigers. LSU is a strong team, but they will need to be on their game to win this one.
These are just two of the many great matchups in this year’s tournament. Be sure to tune in to see who will come out on top!
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament Second Round Matchups
The field of 64 has been whittled down to the Sweet Sixteen and the second round of the NCAA baseball tournament is set to begin on Thursday. Here’s a look at the matchups:
(1) Florida State vs. (5) Auburn
The Seminoles cruised through their first two games, dispatching of Bradley and Georgia Tech They’ll face a stiffer test in Auburn, which has also looked impressive in its two wins. The Tigers are hitting .333 as a team and have scored a combined 31 runs in their two games. They’ll need that offensive firepower to continue if they want to upset Florida State
(2) Vanderbilt vs. (6) Duke
The Commodores are coming off a statement win over Ole Miss in which they scored 12 runs on 16 hits. Vanderbilt will look to keep that offensive momentum going against Duke, which narrowly defeated Illinois State in its first game before crushing Indiana in its second. The Blue Devils will have their hands full with Vanderbilt’s pitching staff, which has posted a 1.50 ERA thus far in the tournament.
(3) Louisville vs. (7) East Carolina
Louisville needed 12 innings to get past Texas A&M in its opener, but the Cardinals bounced back with an easy 9-1 win over Indiana State They’ll now face East Carolina which swept UNC-Wilmington to reach the second round. The Pirates will be tested by Louisville’s pitching staff, which has allowed just four runs in three tournament games.
(4) Mississippi State vs. (8) Stanford
Mississippi State had no trouble dispatching Houston and South Alabama in its first two games, outscoring those opponents by a combined 18-3 margin. Stanford also cruised through its first two games, beating UC Irvine and Fresno State by a combined 16-4 margin. Something has to give in this matchup of two of the most dominant teams thus far in the tournament.
2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament Championship game Predictions
The 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament began on May 31, and it will culminate with the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska from June 15-26. A field of 64 teams will be whittled down to two, and those two teams will face off in a best-of-three series to determine the National Champion

They won a school-record 19 consecutive games at one point and they enter the postseason on a roll, having won 15 of their last 16 games overall. Vanderbilt also has arguably the best pitching staff in the country, led by ace starter Kumar Rocker (10-5, 3.91 ERA).
