4. Louisville rounds out the top four, with a 20-5 record.
5. Kansas is fifth, with a 19-6 record.

The Buckeyes have won eight Big Ten regular season championships – the last coming in 2016 – as well as 13 Big Ten Tournament titles, and they have reached the Final Four 20 times, with their most recent trip coming in 2021. The Buckeyes share a traditional rivalry with the Michigan Wolverines in which OSU has an 93–71 series lead.

The Cincinnati Bearcats men’s Basketball Program represents the University of Cincinnati in NCAA Division I competition. The Bearcats play their home games in Fifth Third Arena on UC’s main campus in Clifton, Cincinnati, Ohio, and are currently coached by John Brannen. They have appeared in the NCAA tournament 31 times and made it to four Final Fours – all under legendary coach Bob Huggins – but have not advanced past the national semifinals since 1964, making them one of college basketball’s elite “bridesmaids.” They share a historic crosstown rivalry with Xavier University playing each other every year since 1927 and playing each other twice a year since 1955 – an annual event known informally as “the Crosstown Shootout” that is among college basketball’s most intensely fought and well-attended rivalries on a per-possession basis if not raw attendance figures; both have been ranked highly at various times over recent seasons (in recent years 5 of 8 meetings between the two 2006–2007 through 2013–2014 have featured at least one top-10 squad).

Through 2019–20 season UM had made 19 Final Fours – tied w/ UNC for 3rd most ever behind only UCLA & Kentucky – while their 11 National Championship game appearances trails only UCLA’s record 15 title game appearances.. Nine separate coaches led UofM to those 19 Final Fours: John Beilein / Steve Fisher / Bill Frieder / Bo Ryan / Dick Vitale / Lute Olsen / Johnny Orr / Red Berenson & Brian Dutcher..
