The Ohio State Buckeyes men’s Ice Hockey team is a Division I college Ice hockey program that competes in the Big Ten Conference, representing Ohio State University The Buckeyes have won six conference championships and have appeared in 17 NCAA Tournaments. They are based in Columbus, Ohio, and play their home games at the Schottenstein Center. The team is coached by Steve Rohlik.

Game highlights

The Ohio State University Men’s Hockey team is a Division I college hockey team that competes in the Big Ten Conference. The Buckeyes play their home games at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are one of the most successful hockey programs in NCAA history, having won 8 National Championships

Team news

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State University men’s hockey team announced today their full schedule for the upcoming 2017-2018 season The Buckeyes will compete in 34 games, 17 of which will be played at home in Value City Arena.

The season kicks off with an away game against Lake Superior State on October 6th, and the first Home game will be against Clarkson on October 13th. Non-conference opponents this season include Notre Dame Arizona State Penn State and Merrimack. The Buckeyes will also compete in the annual Three Rivers Classic tournament in Pittsburgh over winter break, where they will take on Robert Morris and either Niagara or Alabama Huntsville

In conference play Ohio State will look to improve upon their 5th place finish in the Big Ten last year. They’ll face each team a total of four times – twice at home and twice away – with Michigan, Michigan State Minnesota, Notre Dame Penn State and Wisconsin making up the Conference Schedule The Big Ten Tournament will again be held at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit from March 15-17.

The Ohio State University men’s Hockey Team is excited to announce its recruiting class for the 2019-20 season The class is made up of six forwards, four defensemen and two goaltenders hailing from seven different states.
