The Scout Friars have a long tradition of success on the basketball court and they continue to produce some of the Top Players in the country. In this blog post, we take a look at the top prospects in the class of 2020 who have committed to playing for the Friars.
Scout Friars is excited to present our Top 60 players in the class of 2020. Our staff saw and evaluated every single one of these players live throughout the High School season. We break down each player by position and give our staff scouting reports. This list is a great starting point for college coaches looking to recruit the best talent in the class of 2020.

The Friars have been on a roll lately. They landed the top ranked player in the class of 2021, AJ Reeves, and recently picked up commitments from two more top-100 recruits in Noah Farrakhan and Kris Wilkes.
The class of 2020 is no different. The Friars currently have the #1, #4, #7, and #9 players in the class committed to play for them next season.

#1 – Reece Beekman
Reece Beekman is a 6’3″ point guard from Baton Rouge Louisiana. He’s ranked as the #1 player in the class of 2020 by ESPN. Beekman is a consensus 5-star recruit and was named a McDonald’s All-American. He chose the Friars over offers from Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, and Marquette.
#4 -Aiden Igiehon
Aiden Igiehon is a 6’10” Power Forward from Dublin, Ireland. He’s ranked as the #4 player in the class of 2020 by ESPN. Igiehon is a consensus 5-star recruit and was named a McDonald’s All-American. He chose the Friars over offers from Duke, Kentucky, Stanford, and UCLA.
#7 – Jared Butler
Jared Butler is a 6’3″ point guard from Reserve, Louisiana. He’s ranked as the #7 player in the class of 2020 by ESPN. Butler is a consensus 5-star recruit and was named a McDonald’s All-American. He chose the Friars over offers from Baylor, LSU, Memphis, and Texas Tech

1. Luke Bresnahan – A 6’8″ forward from Rhode Island Bresnahan is a versatile player who can score inside and out. He is a physical presence on the court and is a good rebounder.
2. Will Bartlett – A 6’7″ forward from Massachusetts, Bartlett is a high-energy player who is always hustling. He has a great outside shot and is a good defender.
3. Tim Walsh – A 6’6″ forward from New Hampshire, Walsh is an athletic player who can run the floor well. He is a good shooter and has a nose for the ball on the glass.

1. Mikey Fitzpatrick – A 6’4″ guard from Rhode Island Fitzpatrick is a pure shooter with unlimited range. He is a smart player who finds ways to score and is also a good passer.

R.J. Hampton – A 6’5″ guard from Little Elm, Texas, Hampton is a five-star recruit that has drawn comparisons to Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant He has excellent shooting range and is considered one of the best pure shooters in his class. Hampton is also an excellent ball-handler and passer.
Cole Anthony – A 6’3″ guard from Bronx, New York, Anthony is a five-star recruit that is considered one of the best all-around guards in his class. He has good size and strength for his position and is an excellent shooter from both inside and outside the three-point line Anthony is also a very good ball-handler and passer.
Jaden McDaniels – A 6’10” forward from Seattle, Washington, McDaniels is a five-star recruit that is considered one of the best all-around forwards in his class. He has good size and length for his position and is an excellent shooter from both inside and outside the Three-Point Line McDaniels is also a very good rebounder and shot blocker.
Vernon Carey Jr. – A 6’10” center from Fort Lauderdale Florida, Carey Jr. is a five-star recruit that is considered one of the best all-around big men in his class. The Top Players in the Class of 2020
There is a lot of talent in the Class of 2020, and the Scout Friars are lucky to have Scout’s #1 player in the class. This year’s top players include:
– small forward Zion Williamson from Spartanburg, South Carolina
– shooting guard R.J. Barrett from Mississauga, Canada
– power forward Cameron Reddish from Norcross, Georgia
– center Bol Bol from Olathe, Kansas
All four of these players are ranked in the top ten of the ESPN 100 for the Class of 2020, and they all have the potential to be one-and-done players. Zion Williamson is the clear-cut #1 player in the class, and he has the chance to be a once-in-a-generation type of player. He’s an incredible athlete with a unique combination of size, strength, and explosiveness. His highlight reel dunks are a must-see, and he has the potential to be a very good defender at the next level. R.J. Barrett is an elite scorer who can get his shot off against anyone. He’s also a very good playmaker and has improved his outside shooting over the past year. Cameron Reddish is a prototype wing player with great size and length. He’s a very good shooter with deep range, and he’s also a very good passer. Bol Bol is one of the most unique prospects we’ve ever seen. He’s 7’2″ with a 7’8″ wingspan and can shoot threes off the dribble with ease. He needs to add strength, but he has all the tools to be a very special player.

1. Josh Green – 6’6″ wing from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Green is a consensus 5-star recruit and is ranked in the top 10 of most 2020 mock drafts He has great size and athleticism and is an excellent shooter from long range. He’s also a good defender.
2. Killian Tillie – 6’10” power forward from Gonzaga University. Tillie is a stretch 4 who can shoot from long range and is a very good rebounder. He’s been hampered by injuries throughout his career, but when healthy he’s one of the best players in the country.
3. Precious Achiuwa – 6’9″ power forward from St. John’s University. Achiuwa is a physical specimen who is an excellent rebounder and shot-blocker. He needs to develop his offensive game, but has all the tools to be a very good player at the next level.
4. Ashton Hagans – 6’3″ point guard from Kentucky University Hagans is an elite level defender and one of the best pure point guards in the country. He needs to work on his jump shot but has all the tools to be a very good player at the next level.
5. Cole Anthony – 6’3″ point guard from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. Anthony is one of the best scorers in the country and can really fill it up from long range. He needs to work on his defense, but has all the tools to be a very good player at the next level

In order to be eligible for the Top 500, a player must be in the graduating class of 2020, have played in at least 15 games during their high school career, and be nominated by their coach. Each player is then ranked according to their Scout Friars rating, which is based on a number of factors including their scouting report performance against top competition, and potential upside.
