The Southern Connecticut Conference is one of the most competitive baseball leagues in the state. Here’s a look at the current standings.
American League Standings
As of August 9th, the New York Yankees are leading the American League East division with a record of 67-45. The Tampa Bay Rays are in second place with a record of 63-49, followed by the Boston Red Sox (61-52), the Toronto Blue Jays (55-57), and the Baltimore Orioles (53-60). In the American League Central, the Minnesota Twins have a slim lead over the Cleveland Indians 63-50 to 62-50 respectively. The Chicago White Sox are in third place with a record of 60-53, followed by the Detroit Tigers (54-59) and the Kansas City Royals (43-69). The Houston Astros have a comfortable lead in the American League West division with a record of 73-42; they are followed by the Oakland Athletics (64-51), the Los Angeles Angels (60-54), the Texas Rangers (57-58), and the Seattle Mariners (48-66).
National League Standings
The National League Standings as of August 1st are as follows:

AL East Standings
The American League East is currently led by the Boston Red Sox who have a record of 81-35. The New York Yankees are in second place with a record of 79-36, followed by the Tampa Bay Rays (62-53), Baltimore Orioles (45-70), and Toronto Blue Jays (43-73).
NL East Standings
The National League East is a Major League Baseball (MLB) division that includes teams from Atlanta, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The NL East has been home to some of baseball’s most iconic players and teams, and the competition among these teams is always fierce.
As of June 8th, 2018, the standings for the NL East are as follows:
Washington Nationals – 39-24
Atlanta Braves – 37-26
Philadelphia Phillies – 31-30
New York Mets – 28-33
Miami Marlins – 21-40
The Nationals are currently in first place, followed by the Braves in second. The Phillies are in third place, followed by the Mets in fourth, and the Marlins in fifth.
AL West Standings
As of June 1st, the Seattle Mariners are in first place in the AL West standings with a record of 37-24. The Houston Astros are in second place with a record of 34-28, followed by the Los Angeles Angels in third place with a record of 33-29. The Oakland Athletics are in fourth place with a record of 31-31, and the Texas Rangers round out the standings in fifth place with a record of 27-35.
NL West Standings
In the National League West, the Los Angeles Dodgers currently lead the division with a record of 22-15. The San Diego Padres are in second place with a 20-17 record, followed by the Colorado Rockies (19-18), the San Francisco Giants (18-20), and the Arizona Diamondbacks (16-22).
AL Central Standings
The American League Central is one of the most competitive divisions in baseball, with four teams within four games of first place. The Cleveland Indians have been on top of the division for most of the season, but the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox are right behind them. The Detroit Tigers are also in the mix, just a few games back. It’s going to be a tight race all season long!
NL Central Standings
The NL Central is one of the most competitive divisions in baseball. The Chicago Cubs are the defending World Series champions, but the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates are right on their heels. Who’s on top as of June 1st?

AL Wild Card Standings

As of September 18th, the Tampa Bay Rays were in first place with a 0.571 win percentage followed by the Cleveland Indians with a 0.558 win percentage. The Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Mariners were tied for third place with a 0.556 win percentage each.
NL Wild Card Standings
The National League Wild Card Standings are as follows: the Chicago Cubs are in first place with a record of 73-58, the Milwaukee Brewers are in second place with a record of 72-60, and the New York Mets are in third place with a record of 71-61.
