Introduction
The Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Mexican League They are based in the Mexican cities of Laredos, Nuevo Laredo, and Tamaulipas, and play their home games at Uni-Trade Stadium.
The team was founded in 1940 as the Nuevo Laredo Angeles, and has been known by several names since: the Tecolotes (Owls) of Nuevo Laredo (1940–1958), the Tecolotes (1960–1974), the Olmecas de Tabasco (1975– 1976), and the Tecolotes again since 1977.
The Tecolotes have won ten Mexican League championships: in 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1955, 1960, 1963, 1964, 1970, and 2002. They have also won one Caribbean Series in 1950.

The Tecos were founded in 1940 as the Juárez Indios. The team won its first championship in 1950. The Juárez Indios played their home games at Estadio de Beisbol Oscar Rojas Almeida until 1973, when they moved to Estadio de Béisbol Vidaurri. In 2002, the team was renamed the Tecos de Ciudad Juárez.

The Tecos’ History
The Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (previously the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo) are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Mexican League. The name “Tecolotes” means “Owls” in English. The team plays its home games at Uni-Trade Stadium in Laredo, Texas, United States across the border from its namesake city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
The Tecolotes first played under the name Eagles in 1940 as a founding member of the Mexican League. After several years and numerous name changes, they settled on the Tecolotes in 1966 and have been known by that name since. They have won 12 Mexican League championships: in 1945 and 1946 (as the Eagles), 1957 (as the Alacranes), 1970, 1980 and 1982 (as the Sultanes), and three times each as the Tecolotes: in 1987, 1989 and 2019.

The Tecos are a minor league baseball team that plays in the Pacific Coast League The team is based in El Paso, Texas, and is the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers The team was founded in 1974 as the El Paso Diablos, and were later known as the El Paso Dodgers from 1979 to 2004. They became the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (Owls of the Two Laredos) after a co-op agreement with Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico was reached in 2004. In 2019, they reverted to their original name of “El Paso Chihuahuas”.
The Tecolotes play their home games at West University Park, which opened in 2014 and is located in downtown El Paso. The ballpark has a capacity of 9,500 people and features a retractable roof to protect fans and players from the area’s hot summers.
