Potential Trap Games
The Tulane Basketball Schedule is out, and there are a few potential “trap” games to watch out for. A “trap” game is defined as a game in which an opponent is underestimated by the public and the media. Here are a few games that fit that bill for Tulane:
-Nov. 29 vs. Nicholls State The Colonels are a solid mid-major team that nearly upset Texas A&M last season. They will be looking to take down the Green Wave in what will be their home opener
-Dec. 3 at Oklahoma: The Sooners are a young team, but they have a lot of talent. They will be looking to make a statement early in the season by taking down Tulane on their home court
-Dec. 22 vs. Incarnate Word The Cardinals are a small school, but they have been known to pull off upsets from time to time. They will be looking to do just that when they come into Fogelman Arena to take on Tulane.
The Season Opener
The Tulane Basketball Schedule is here and the season opener is upon us! The Green Wave will take on the University of South Florida Bulls in Tampa on November 6th at 7 pm. This will be the first meeting between the two schools since Tulane joined the American Athletic Conference
