Recent results

The University of South Carolina women’s Basketball team is currently in its 25th season as a varsity sport. The team has seen great success in recent years reaching the NCAA tournament eight times since 2009 and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen four times. The team has also won two SEC championships, in 2015 and 2016.

The 2017-2018 season was a tough one for the Gamecocks, as they finished with a 17-16 record and failed to make the NCAA Tournament The team rebounded in 2018-2019, however, finishing with a 23-9 record and reaching the second round of the NCAA tournament

The 2019-2020 season is off to a strong start, with the Gamecocks posting an 8-1 record so far. Recent results include:

-A 66-63 win over then-No. 9 Florida State on November 27th
-A 78-68 win over No. 12 Texas A&M on December 4th
-A 74-59 win over No. 14 Kentucky on December 8th

The University of South Carolina women’s basketball team has released its full schedule for the upcoming season The Gamecocks will open the season with an exhibition game against North Greenville on November 5th, followed by their first regular season game against Appalachian State on November 11th. The schedule includes games against some of the nation’s top programs including Connecticut, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina Notre Dame Purdue, South Florida Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia, and West Virginia The schedule also features several marquee matchups at home in the Colonial Life Arena, including games against defending National Champion Baylor on January 28th and February 25th against SEC rival Tennessee.
