Game Times and Locations
The UC Irvine baseball team has released its game Times and Locations for the upcoming season Here is a look at the schedule:
UC Irvine will open its season at home on Friday, February 14th, against Sacramento State The game will start at 3:00 pm.
The following weekend, UC Irvine will travel to San Diego to take on the University of San Diego The first game of the series will start at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 21st. On Saturday, the 22nd, the game will start at 2:00 pm, and on Sunday, the 23rd, the game will start at 1:00 pm.
The Anteaters will return home the following weekend to take on LMU. The first game of that series is set for Friday, February 28th, at 6:00 pm. On Saturday, March 1st, the game will start at 2:00 pm, and on Sunday single games will be played at 12:00pm and 3:30pm
Ticket Information
Ticket information for all UC Irvine baseball games can be found on the website. Prices for tickets vary depending on the game, but there are generally four different types of tickets – adult, youth, senior, and military. seating is also assigned by section, so be sure to check the Seating Chart before you purchase your tickets. You can also find information on group discounts, as well as special promotions that may be going on during the season.
Promotions and Giveaways
The UC Irvine Baseball Team has announced its promotions and giveaways for the 2019 season. Highlights include a bobblehead giveaway, a “Dollar Dog Night” and a post-game concert series.
The season kicks off on February 15th with a Home game against the University of San Diego The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free UC Irvine baseball T-shirt
On April 12th, the team will be giving away bobbleheads of former player and current Assistant Coach Evan McArthur. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive the collectible item.
On May 17th, the team will hold “Dollar Dog Night.” All hot dogs will be just one dollar each at the concession stands.
Finally, on June 14th, 15th and 16th, the team will host a post-game concert series featuring local bands. More details on the bands performing will be announced closer to the date.

Game Notes
The Anteaters will put their 10-game Winning Streak on the line when they face off against the Highlanders in a three-game Big West Conference series at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark. UC Irvine is coming off a 2-1 series victory over then-No. 20 Stanford in which the Anteaters took the first two games before dropping the finale, 4-1. The Highlanders are coming off a 1-2 home series against Cal Poly in which they won the finale, 3-2.
In the opener, senior right-hander Andre LeVier (6-1, 2.70 ERA) will start for UC Irvine while junior righty Alex Schick (3-6, 5.91) will start for UCR. In game two, senior lefty Trent Twaddle (4-0, 1.31) will start for UCI while junior righty Eddie Mora-Loera (0-2, 12.00) is scheduled to start for the Highlanders. In the finale, junior righty John Gavin (3-2, 3.57) will start for UCI while sophomore righty Tanner Morachelli (3-5, 8.47) is scheduled to take the mound for UCR

The UC Irvine Baseball Schedule has been announced and the ‘Eaters will open their season at home against the University of San Diego on February 14. The game will be the first of a three-game series and will be played at 6:30 p.m. PT.
UC Irvine will play a total of 56 games this season, 28 of which will be played at home at Anteater Ballpark. The ‘Eaters will face 16 teams that made the NCAA tournament last season, including UCLA, USC, Arizona State Kentucky, and Louisville.
About the Big West Conference
The Big West Conference is a collegiate athletic conference that competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Division I. The conference was originally founded in 1969 as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association. The conference headquarters are located in Newport Beach, California.
History of Anteater Ballpark
The history of Anteater Ballpark began in 2002 when the stadium was built to host the UC Irvine Anteaters baseball team The ballpark is located on the campus of UC Irvine and has a capacity of 2,500 spectators. The Anteaters have been playing their home games at the ballpark since it opened.
Over the years, the ballpark has undergone several renovations and improvements. In 2008, a new video scoreboard was installed and in 2010, the seating capacity was increased to 3,000. In 2012, a new outfield fence was installed and the stadium lights were upgraded.
The Anteaters have enjoyed great success at their home ballpark over the years. They have won numerous conference championships and made several appearances in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship tournament.
