The UCR baseball coaching Staff

The UC Riverside Baseball coaching staff is led by Head Coach Troy Percival. He is assisted by two coaches, Pete Ricciardi and Kyle Hipp.

Percival was hired in 2013 after the team had finishing last in the conference the previous season. He was able to turn the team around and in his first season, they won the conference championship In his second season, they made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.

Ricciardi joined the staff in 2014. He has over 20 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level. He has helped lead UCR to two conference championships and one NCAA tournament appearance.

Hipp joined the staff in 2016. He played four years of minor League Baseball before retiring and becoming a coach. In his first season as a coach, he helped lead UCR to their second consecutive Conference Championship and their second NCAA tournament appearance.

The UCR Baseball team has seen a tremendous amount of success in recent years and a big part of that has been the state-of-the-art facilities that the team plays in.

The UCR baseball team plays its home games at the Riverside Sports Complex which is widely considered to be one of the best college baseball facilities in the country. The complex features a 3,500 seat stadium, a full-size practice field, and a weight room and training facility that is second to none.

In addition to the outstanding facilities at the Riverside sports complex the UCR baseball team also has access to some of the best support staff in the business. The team’s Head coach Justin Suttle, is a former Major League player and he has put together a top-notch Coaching Staff that includes several former Major League players and coaches

The UCR Baseball Team is on the rise and with their excellent facilities and support staff, there is no doubt that they will continue to be one of the top teams in the country for years to come.

The UCR Baseball Roster

The University of California Riverside’s baseball roster is filled with young talent and potential. He is joined by fellow Junior Matt Libido as the only two upperclassmen in the starting rotation. The rest of the pitching staff consists of sophomores Connor Brooks, Kyle Luckham, and Hayden Howell.
