The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s (UMHB) men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to begin their seasons on Tuesday, November 5th at home against Concordia University The Crusaders will then travel to Sam Houston State University on Friday, November 8th for their first road game of the season.

With games against conference rivals such as Belhaven and Huston-Tillotson, as well as out-of-conference foes like Texas A&M-Kingsville and Angelo State the Crusaders will have their work cut out for them. But with a strong core of returning players and a talented group of newcomers, the Crusaders are poised to make a run at the conference title
UMHB will be looking to defend their conference title
The UMHB basketball schedule is here and the Crusaders will be looking to defend their conference title. The conference tournament will be held in Belton, Texas on February 28 – March 3. The regular season will conclude on February 24.
The Crusaders have a total of 30 games scheduled this season. They will play 16 conference games and 14 non-conference games. The conference games are against teams in the American West Conference (ASC). The non-conference game are against teams from Division III NAIA, and two junior colleges.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Basketball Schedule is finally here and the Crusaders will be looking to make a run at the National Championship This year’s team is loaded with talent and they will be looking to make a statement on the court. The schedule is as follows:
November 1st: vs Texas A&M Corpus Christi
November 5th: vs LeTourneau
November 8th: at St Edwards
November 12th: vs Concordia (TX)
December 3rd: at Belhaven
December 17th: vs Huston-Tillotson

The Cru will open the season at home against Austin College on November 15th. They will then travel to San Antonio to take on St. Mary’s on November 17th. The Cru will have a Home game against Howard Payne on November 21st and then will travel to Corsicana to take on Navarro on November 23rd. UMHB will have a three-game home stand from December 1st-5th when they host Hardin-Simmons, McMurry, and Belhaven.

After winning the National Championship last year, UMHB will be looking to prove they are the best team in the country. The schedule has been released and they will have their work cut out for them. The Crusaders will be looking to take care of business.
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders will be looking to take care of business and make a return trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship game when the 2017-2018 season tips off. The schedule for UMHB’s 26th season of intercollegiate basketball has been released and it features some very tough competition.
The Crusaders will open the season with an exhibition game against Concordia University Texas on November 1st, before tipping off the regular season at home against Howard Payne University on November 10th. UMHB will spend Thanksgiving weekend in Las Vegas Nevada, where they will compete in the Dixie State Classic. The Cru will face Presentation College on November 24th and then either Concordia-Wisconsin or St. Scholastica on November 25th in that tournament.
After returning home, UMHB will host Millsaps College on December 2nd before heading out for a three-game road swing through Missouri. The Cru will take on Fontbonne University on December 5th, Westminster College on December 19th, and Principia College on December 30th. UMHB will open up 2018 with a three-game home stand, hosting Haven University on January 3rd, Austin College on January 6th, and Trinity University on January 13th.
The Cru will then embark upon their annual Texas two-step road trip through the American West Conference facing Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie on January 17th and then taking on East Texas Baptist University in Marshall on January 20th. UMHB’s next four games will be at Crusader Gymnasium, as they host LeTourneau University on January 27th, Louisiana College on February 3rd, Ozarks (Ark.)on February 7th, and Sul Ross State Universityon February 10th.
The Crusaders will close out the Regular Season with five of their last eight games away from home. UMHB will visit McPherson (Kan.)on February 14th before coming back to Belton to host Howard Payne again On February 17th. The Cru will then travel to Marshall for a rematch with ETBU On February 24t hbefore hosting Southwestern Adventist Universityon March 3rd. UMHB’s final road games of the regular season come at Schreiner Universityon March 7 thand Marymount (Calif.)on March 10 thbefore they close out the year at home against Concordia Texasagain On March 14 thto end the Regular Season .
The ASC Tournament is set for March 21st through the 24thin Kerrville ,with seeding and pairings yet to be determined . The 2018 NCAA Division III National Championships are scheduled for April 5 throu gh 8thin Salem , Virginia ,with UMHB hoping to make their second consecutive appearance in that event .
