The UNCW Basketball team scored another victory against their opponent, the Duke Blue Devils This marks the second win in a row for the Tar Heels and they continue to remain undefeated in their conference. The team showed great strength and resilience in the face of their opponent’s tough defense, and their hard work paid off with another impressive victory.

It was a back-and-forth affair for much of the game, with neither team able to gain a significant advantage. The Seahawks took a slim lead into halftime and then held on in the second half to secure the win.

Leading the way for UNCW was guard Devon Daniels, who finished with 21 points and six rebounds. Forward CJ Bryce also had a strong game, finishing with 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Seahawks will now turn their attention to their next game, a road matchup against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

The UNCW Seahawks Basketball Team won its second game in a row with a victory over the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Saturday night.

With the win, the Seahawks improved to 2-0 on the season and will next take on the University of Louisville on December 2.

UNCW was led by freshman guard Jaylen Fornes, who scored a team-high 15 points, while junior forward Devontae Cacok added 14 points and eight rebounds.

The UNCW men’s Basketball team defeated James Madison University 71-64 on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Trask Coliseum. The Seahawks are now 13-6 overall and 4-1 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Redshirt sophomore forward Devontae Cacok led UNCW with 16 points and 12 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season. Cacok was followed by sophomore forward Jaylen Fornes with 15 points and junior guard Ambrose Mosley with 12 points.

The Seahawks will return to action on Thursday, January 25, 2018, when they host the University of North Carolina at Wilmington 71-64. The game is set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
