The United States Merchant Marine Academy baseball team will open its 2019 season on Saturday, March 2nd at home against Wesley College
Introduction
The 2019 United States Merchant Marine Academy baseball season will mark the program’s 87th season of play. The Mariners are a member of NCAA Division III and the Skyline Conference. They play their home games at Joe T. Clark Stadium, named for the former mayor of Baltimore.
On February 15, the United States Military Academy will take on the United States Naval Academy in the first baseball game of the 2019 season. These two teams have a long tradition of excellence on the diamond, and this year’s matchup is sure to be a nail-biter. The contest will be held at Army’s home field in West Point New York, and first pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM EST.
The United States Merchant Marine Academy Baseball Team will take on the Lafayette Leopards in game two of their 2019 season. The Mariners are coming off of a strong performance in their season opener against the La Salle Explorers where they won by a score of 9-1. The Leopards, on the other hand, will be looking to Bounce Back after falling to the Bucknell Bison in their Season Opener
This will be the first meeting between these two teams since 2016, when the Mariners defeated the Leopards by a score of 10-4. The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM EST and will be held at Max Bishop Stadium on the campus of the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
Navy will host Lehigh in the third game of the 2019 baseball season on Saturday, February 23. The game will be played at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium and is scheduled to begin at 1:00pm ET.
This will be the first meeting between the two programs since 2016, when Navy won a 5-3 decision in Greenville, North Carolina Navy leads the all-time series against Lehigh, 8-2.
The Mariners will host Holy Cross on Saturday, March 9th for game four of the 2019 season. The game is set to start at 1:00pm. Navy is currently 3-0 on the season, while Holy Cross is 0-2.
On Saturday, March 9, at 1 pm the Midshipmen will take on the Bucknell Bison in a Patriot League game. The game will be played at Bucknell’s Depew Field.
Navy will face Colgate in game six of their 2019 season. The game will be played on March 16th at 1:00pm EST. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other in baseball.

On Tuesday, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. ET, the Navy Midshipmen will take on the Pepperdine Waves in a non-conference matchup. The game will be held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
