Check Out the UVM Hockey Schedule
The University of Vermont men’s Hockey Team announced its schedule for the 2019-2020 Season on Wednesday.
The Catamounts will open the season at home against Sacred Heart on Oct. 11. The game will be part of a weekend series, with the teams also meeting on Oct. 12.
UVM will play a total of 32 games this season, including 16 at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The Catamounts will face each of their Hockey East opponents four times during the regular season
Highlights of the schedule include a road trip to Omaha, Nebraska, to take on former conference rival Nebraska-Omaha on Nov. 29-30; a home matchup with defending National Champion Massachusetts on Jan. 10; and a home-and-home series against conference rival Boston College to close out the regular season on Feb. 28-29.

The University of Vermont men’s Ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents the University of Vermont in the NCAA’s Division I. The team is a member of Hockey East They play at Gutterson Fieldhouse on campus in Burlington, Vermont. The Catamounts are coached by Kevin Sneddon, in his 15th season with the program in 2019–20.
UVM men’s ice hockey has its origins in a club team that began play in 1911. The program was elevated to varsity status beginning with the 1974–75 season. Vermont has won one conference tournament championship and has qualified for five NCAA tournaments. The team reached the NCAA Frozen Four in 1996 and again in 2009. Through the 2018–19 season, ten former Catamounts have played in the National Hockey League (NHL).
