The William and Mary Tribe have released their schedule for the upcoming Basketball season The Tribe will open their season on November 10th at home against Virginia Commonwealth University Below is the full schedule:

The team’s conference opponents
The Tribe will open their Colonial Athletic Association slate of games on Saturday, December 29th, at Elon. They’ll stay on the road for their next two games, traveling to James Madison on Wednesday, January 2nd and Hofstra on Saturday, January 5th. William and Mary’s first Home game will be on Wednesday, January 9th against Northeastern.
Key returners for the team
Besides Trayrengel and Hardy, the Tribe will look to veteran point guard Owen Wright to lead the team. Wright is coming off an Achilles injury that caused him to miss all of last season.
Newcomers to the team
The William and Mary Tribe men’s basketball team will have some fresh faces on the court this season with the addition of four newcomers.
Two of the Tribe’s newcomers are transfers who will have to sit out the 2019-20 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Jack Whitman, a 6-9 forward from Louisville, and Luke Loewe, a 6-7 guard from Penn, will both have two years of eligibility remaining starting in 2020-21.
The other two members of the Tribe’s incoming class are true freshmen, 6-6 guard Quincy Atkinson and 6-10 center Hunter Seacat. Atkinson was a three-time all-conference selection in High School while Seacat was an all-state honorable mention as a senior.
The team’s preseason rankings
The William and Mary men’s Basketball team has been ranked in the top 25 of both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches preseason polls, it was announced today. The Tribe, who finished last season with a school record 27 victories and earned a share of the Colonial Athletic Association regular season title, is ranked 23rd in the AP poll and 24th in the Coaches Poll
This marks the fourth time in school history that the Tribe has been ranked in either preseason poll and the first time since the 1998-99 season when W&M was ranked 25th in both polls.

The William and Mary men’s basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The team will open their season on November 6th at home against Old Dominion University They will then play four straight road games, before returning home to take on James Madison University on November 27th.
The team’s Head Coach Tony Shaver, is entering his fifteenth season with the Tribe. Coach Shaver has led the team to two NCAA tournament appearances, and is looking to build on that success this year. The team is returning several Key Players from last year’s squad, and is expected to contend for a spot in the tournament once again.
The team’s assistant coaches
The William and Mary basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The team will play 32 games, with 16 of those being conference games. They will face off against teams like Towson, George Mason and James Madison
The team’s assistant coaches are Joe Mihalich Maurice Joseph, and Anthony Solomon. All three of them have experience coaching at the Division I level and have helped lead teams to success.
The team’s facilities
The William and Mary Tribe men’s basketball team represents the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in NCAA Division I competition. The school’s team currently competes in the Colonial Athletic Association. They are currently coached by Dane Fischer. The Tribe have appeared in two NCAA Tournaments.
The team last played in the 2020 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament where they defeated USC Upstate and Holy Cross before losing to Louisville in the Round of 32. The Tribe’s home arena is the Kaplan Arena, which is located on campus and seats 10,600 people.
The team’s facilities include a weight room, locker room player’s lounge, classroom, and training room.

William and Mary Basketball is a college basketball team that competes in the NCAA Division I. The team is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. The team plays its home games at the Kaplan Arena, which is located on the campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
The team’s history dates back to 1893, when they were founded as an independent program. In 1902, they joined the Virginia Collegiate Athletic Association They left the VIAA after one season and became independent again until 1923, when they joined the Southern Conference They left the Southern Conference in 1954 and became independent again until rejoining the conference in 1976.
The team has appeared in three NCAA tournaments and their best finish came in 1925, when they made it to the Sweet Sixteen
