WMU baseball schedule a quick overview
The Western Michigan University (WMU) Baseball Schedule is released! Here’s a quick overview of the games this season.
The team will start their season off with a Home game against Central Michigan on February 14th. Then, they’re on the road for a few games before coming back home to take on Eastern Michigan on the 28th.
In March, the team has mostly away games, with a few home games mixed in. They’ll start the month off with a bang, playing three games against Indiana State from the 1st-3rd. Then, they’ll have away games until they come back to Kalamazoo to play Kent State on the 23rd and 24th.
The team will finish up their season in May with home games against Oakland and Detroit Mercy So make sure to come out and support your WMU Broncos this season!

March 3: The season opens with a bang as the Broncos take on in-state rival Central Michigan
March 10-12: WMU hits the road to take on Liberty in a three-game series
March 17-19: The Broncos host Toledo in a key Mid-American Conference matchup.
April 7-9: WMU welcomes Northern Illinois to Kalamazoo for a three-game set.
May 12-14: The Broncos close out the regular season at home against Eastern Michigan

If you’re looking for a college baseball team to follow this season, Western Michigan University is a Great Choice The Broncos have a strong lineup of players, and they’re sure to put on an exciting show on the diamond. Here are some of the key games on their schedule that you won’t want to miss:
March 3: The Broncos open their season at home against Central Michigan This will be a good early test for WMU, as the Chippewas are always one of the top teams in the Mid-American Conference.
March 10-12: WMU hits the road for a tough three-game series against Cal State Fullerton The Titans are one of the top programs in the country, and this will be a good measuring stick for the Broncos.
April 7-9: WMU returns home to host Kent State in what should be an electric atmosphere at Robert Tracy Stadium. These two teams always seem to play each other close, and it should be another great series this year.

The WMU baseball team is gearing up for another great season! Our rising stars are looking to build on their success from last year and take the team to new heights. Check out our schedule below and come out to support the team!
The experienced veterans leading the way
The 2019 Western Michigan Baseball Team looks to build on the success of last year’s squad that went 30-27 overall and 15-9 in the Mid-American Conference. The team is led by a strong group of experienced veterans, including preseason All-American pitcher Keegan Thompson. The senior right-hander from Dyer, Indiana, was named a preseason All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and perfect game He is also on the watch list for the Golden Spikes Award which is given to the nation’s top amateur baseball player

The away games to keep an eye on
The WMU baseball schedule is here, and there are some key games to keep an eye on! While the home games are always important, the away games can sometimes be even more crucial in terms of Conference Standings Here are the three away games that we think will be the most exciting this season:
1) May 12th @ Cincinnati – This game will be a tough one, as Cincinnati is always a tough team to beat. However, WMU has been doing well in recent years against them, and this should be a close game
2) May 19th @ Indiana State – Indiana State is another team that WMU has had trouble with in recent years This will be a key game in terms of conference standings, and it should be a great game to watch.
3) June 2nd @ Michigan State – This is always a big rivalry game, and it should be a great game to watch regardless of conference standings. Michigan State is always a tough team to beat, but WMU has been doing better in recent years and this could be a close game

The potential postseason implications
The Western Michigan baseball team enters the 2019 season coming off a 32-24 overall record and a 16-8 mark in the Mid-American Conference. The Broncos finished tied for second in the MAC West division and earned a berth in the MAC Tournament.
This season, the Broncos have the potential to make noise in the conference once again as they return 17 players from last year’s squad, including seven position starters and six pitchers who made at least 10 appearances.

The Western Michigan University Baseball Team is gearing up for another exciting season! Check out their schedule and come out to one of their games!
The WMU Baseball team plays their Home Games at Robert J. Bobb Stadium, located on the campus of Western Michigan University The stadium has a capacity of 3,500 people and is one of the Premier Baseball facilities in the Mid-American Conference.
The team is coached by Billy Gernon, who is entering his fourth season at the helm of the program. Coach Gernon has led the team to two NCAA regional appearances and has a career record of 192-120 (.613).
Some of the Key Players to Watch This Season include shortstop Raymon Garcia, who was named to the Preseason All-Mid-American Conference team, and pitcher Keegan Akin, who was named the MAC West Pitcher of the Year last season.
