February 17th at 8:00 PM: WTAMU vs. Texas Southern University (TSU) at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi TX

February 24th at 6:00 PM: WTAMU vs. University of Texas – Pan American (UTPA) at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, TX

WTAMU basketball game day promotions and giveaways

The WTAMU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be giving away schedule posters at all home games this season. The first 100 students through the gates will receive a free t-shirt, and there will be a halftime shoot-out for a chance to win an iPad.

WTAMU basketball game day parking information

The Alumni Association will offer free parking for all home Basketball Games in the West Texas A&M University lot located on 26th street between First United Bank Center and the Health and physical education Building. This lot will be available for fans starting two hours prior to each game.

WTAMU basketball game day transportation information

The WTAMU Basketball Schedule is out, and we have all the game day transportation information you need to get to and from the games! Here are the dates, times, and locations of all the upcoming games:

November 5th vs. West Texas A&M:
7:00 pm at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, TX.

November 8th vs. Eastern New Mexico:
7:00 pm at the Greyhound Arena in Portales, NM.

November 12th vs. Angelo State University
7:00 pm at the Junell Center in San Angelo, TX.

We will be providing free shuttles to and from all WTAMU Basketball Games this season! The shuttle will pick up two hours before tip-off outside of the Alumni Gate on 4th Avenue. Please note that all fans must have a valid game ticket to ride the shuttle. For more information on game day transportation, please call us at (806) 665-2212.

The West Texas A&M men’s basketball team is set to tip off their season opener at home in the First United Bank Center on November 5th, 2019 against Lubbock Christian University As game day approaches, many fans are wondering what the weather forecast will be like.

Luckily, the National Weather Service has released their forecast for game day. According to the forecast, it will be sunny with a high near 70 degrees. Perfect weather for a basketball game! So make sure to come out and support your WTAMU Buffs as they take on Lubbock Christian University

WTAMU Basketball team news and updates

The WTAMU basketball team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season Here are some important dates, times, and locations to keep in mind.

The first game of the season is scheduled for November 7th at 5:00pm. The team will be playing against the University of Texas at Arlington. The game will be held at the WTAMU Field House.

The following game is scheduled for November 10th at 7:00pm. The team will be playing against Texas State University. The game will be held at the Strahan Coliseum.

There are away games scheduled for November 14th and 17th. The team will be playing against the University of New Mexico and Texas Tech University respectively. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7:00pm.

The next Home game is scheduled for November 21st at 6:00pm. The team will be playing against Abilene Christian University. The game will be held at theWTAMU Field House.
