Atlanta Hawks

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the Hawks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Southeast Division The team plays its home games at State Farm Arena. Atlanta has won four NBA championships (1958, 1960, 1961, and 1962). The franchise has recorded three victories in the NBA Finals – in 1957 against the Boston Celtics in 1958 against the St. Louis Hawks and in 1960 against the Lakers – becoming one of only three NBA Teams to win championships by defeating two other NBA Finals teams from two different cities (the others being the Warriors and Cavaliers).

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls play their home games at the United Center an arena shared with the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The Bulls are one of only two NBA franchises to win multiple championships and never lose an NBA Finals series in their history. The other franchise is the San Antonio Spurs.

The Cleveland Cavaliers also known as the Cavs, are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cavs compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are a professional basketball team based in Dallas, Texas. The Mavericks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Western Conference Southwest Division The team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center which it shares with the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are an American professional basketball team based in Denver, Colorado. The Nuggets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Western Conference Northwest Division The team was founded as the Denver Larks in 1967 as a charter franchise of the American Basketball Association (ABA), but changed its name to Rockets before the first season. It joined the NBA in 1976 after the ABA–NBA merger and qualified for the NBA playoffs in nine consecutive seasons from 1982 to 1990. However, it has not made an appearance in a round since its last year in the ABA. The Braves moved from Buffalo, New York to San Diego California in 1978 and became known as the San Diego Clippers. In 1984, The Clippers moved to Los Angeles

Former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl was the long-time owner of the team, but on April 16, 2014, a group led by billionaire hedge fund managers Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry purchased a majority interest in the franchise from Kohl, a sale that was approved by the NBA Board of Governors on May 16. The new owners fired Head Coach Larry Drew and hired Jason Kidd as his replacement two weeks later.

Minnesota Timberwolves
