The Golden Griffins play their home games at the Demske Sports Complex on the Canisius College campus in Buffalo, New York.

Canisius has appeared in five NCAA Tournaments. Their best finish came in 1996 when they reached the semifinals of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament before losing to the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. The Canisius Golden Griffins Baseball Team is a Division I college baseball program that competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The Golden Griffins are currently coached by Mike McRae, who is in his fourth season with the team. The team plays its home games at Demorest Field, which is located on the campus of Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

The Canisius Golden Griffins Baseball team has been very successful in recent years The team has won the MAAC regular season championship three times in the last four years and has also won the Aac Tournament championship three times in the last four years. In addition, the Golden Griffins have made three straight trips to the NCAA tournament including a trip to the College World Series in 2012.

He played for four teams during his career, but is best remembered for his time with the New York Mets with whom he was twice named an All-Star. Piazza was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016.
--Ron Guidry Guidry is a former professional baseball pitcher who played 14 seasons in MLB, all with the New York Yankees He helped lead the Yankees to World Series titles in 1977 and 1978, and was named American League (AL) Cy Young Award winner in 1978. Guidry was inducted into the Yankees Hall of Fame in 2014.
--Andre Dawson Dawson is a former Professional Baseball outfielder who played 21 seasons in MLB. He was named an All-Star eight times, won four Gold Glove Awards and was inducted into the national baseball Hall of Fame in 2010.
-Mo Vaughan: Vaughan is a former professional baseball first baseman who played 12 seasons in MLB. He was named AL Rookie of the Year in 1995 and was an All-Star in 1999. Vaughan’s career came to an abrupt end when he suffered a Knee Injury that ended his playing career.

The Canisius Golden Griffins baseball team is coached by Nate Graham. Nate is entering his tenth season as the Head baseball coach of the Golden Griffins. The Canisius baseball program has seen a lot of success under Graham’s leadership. In his nine seasons at the helm, Graham has guided the Golden Griffins to seven straight 30-win seasons, six conference championships and four appearances in the NCAA Tournament The Canisius Baseball Team is one of the best in the country, and it is thanks in part to the great Coaching Staff that Graham has assembled.

The Canisius Golden Griffins coaching staff includes assistant coaches Steve Johnson and Jesse Goldberg-Strassler. Steve Johnson is in his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Golden Griffins. Johnson came to Canisius after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Mercyhurst University Jesse Goldberg-Strassler is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Golden Griffins. Prior to joining the Canisius Coaching Staff Goldberg-Strassler spent four seasons as the Head Coach of the Utica Unicorns, a collegiate summer baseball team in New York.
