The Lehigh Baseball Team is excited to announce its roster for the upcoming season The team is composed of 18 student-athletes, representing nine states and Puerto Rico

Pitchers (10):
Ryan Becher, Sr., from Manasquan, N.J.
Brendan Burda, So., from Catasauqua, Pa.
Tommy Curtin, Fr., from Ridgewood, N.J.
Will Decker-Jones, So., from Melbourne, Fla.
Max Epstein, Jr., from Cherry Hill N.J.
Gunnar Laktas, Fr., from Lansdale, Pa.
Griffin Lotito, So., from Bethlehem, Pa.
Benjamin Maillardet, Jr., from Narberth, Pa.
Jake Stassi, Sr., from Phoenixville, Pa.
Zachary Tredway, So., form Dublin, Ohio
Infielders (6): First basemen Drew Lingel and Mark Eckerle will be looked to for production in the heart of the order this season as both return for their sophomore campaigns after starting last year as freshmen
The pitchers
The Lehigh baseball team has announced its pitching rotation for the upcoming season The pitchers are as follows:
-Starter: Junior right-hander Timmy Richards
-Setup: Senior left-hander Ryan Ammerman
-Closer: Sophomore right-hander Kyle Kasser
The catchers
The Lehigh baseball team has announced its roster for the upcoming season and it includes a mix of new and familiar faces. Among the newcomers are catchers Max Schuermann and Sebastian Gomez.
Schuermann, a native of Scottsdale, Arizona, comes to Lehigh after spending two seasons at Yavapai College In his two years with the Roughriders, he hit .305 with seven home runs and 43 RBIs.
Gomez, meanwhile, is a transfer from Miami Dade College. The Miami, Florida native hit .279 with four home runs and 30 RBIs in his one season with the Sharks.
The infielders
The infield for Lehigh will look very different this season as the team will have 4 new starters. At first base, Connor Stevens will look to build off a strong freshman campaign in which he batted .288 with 3 home runs and 18 RBI. At second base, Timmy Richards will take over for the graduated Sean O’Hara. Richards was solid in limited action last year, posting a .273 average in 42 at-bats.
Shortstop promises to be a position of strength for the Mountain Hawks as they return both junior Kyle Attinasi and senior Troy Reeder. Attinasi was an All-Patriot League selection last year after hitting .341 with 5 homers and 37 RBI while Reeder batted .294 with 1 homer and 18 RBI. Rounding out the infield will be freshman third baseman Willie Burger who was a highly touted recruit out of High School
The outfielders
The Lehigh Baseball Team has announced its roster for the upcoming season and the outfield looks to be a strength for the Mountain Hawks.
Leading the way is senior Kevin Episcopo, who was named First Team All-Patriot League last season after hitting .339 with 10 Home Runs and 46 RBI. Episcopo will be joined in the outfield by junior Ryan Heim and sophomore Max Goeckel, who are both coming off strong seasons at the plate.
Heim was second on the team in batting average last season, hitting .321 with four home runs and 22 RBI. Goeckel wasn’t far behind, hitting .305 with four home runs and 30 RBI.
The three outfielders will be counted on to provide a spark at the plate for a Lehigh team that is looking to improve on its 19-32 record from a year ago.
The coaching staff
The Coaching Staff of the Lehigh Baseball team is excited to announce the roster for the upcoming season The team is made up of 20 student-athletes, who come from all over the country. The majority of the team is from California, followed by Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Jersey.
The schedule
The Lehigh baseball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season The squad will play its first game on February 15th, against the University of Pittsburgh. The team’s first Home game will be on March 3rd, against Lafayette College.
The facilities
The facilities at Lehigh are first-rate, and the team is able to take advantage of them year-round. The weight room, for example, is open to players 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and there are always coaches on hand to help out. In addition, the team has access to an indoor practice facility, which allows them to get in some work even when the weather outside is less than ideal.
The history
The Lehigh baseball team announced their roster for the upcoming season The team is made up of 23 players, including 13 pitchers and 10 Position players This season will mark the 50th anniversary of High Baseball and the team is looking to build on their rich history.
Some of the team’s notable alumni include Major League Baseball players Mike Lieberthal and J.A. Happ. Lieberthal, who played catcher for Lehigh from 1989 to 1992, was a two-time All-American and was drafted in the first round by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1992. He went on to play 14 seasons in the majors, winning a World Series with the Phillies in 2008. Happ, who pitched for Lehigh from 2005 to 2007, was also a two-time All-American and was drafted in the third round by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2007. He has since pitched for seven different Major League teams, including the Toronto Blue Jays where he won a World Series in 2015.
The current roster includes a mix of experienced upperclassmen and talented newcomers. Among the pitchers are senior captain Luke Dickson, who led the team in wins last season; junior Nick Razzano, who was named Second Team All-Patriot League and freshman Matt Biagini, who was rated as one of the top high school prospects in Pennsylvania. On the position player side, junior infielder Tyler Krupp is coming off a season where he hit .309 with nine home runs senior outfielder Connor Simmons is a three-year starter; and freshman outfielder Chase Jones is expected to make an immediate impact.

The tradition
Lehigh University has announced its baseball roster for the Upcoming Season The team is made up of 24 players, all of whom have either been drafted or have signed professional contracts. The roster includes 12 pitchers, four infielders, three outfielders, two catchers and one utility player.
The team will be led by seniors pitcher Matt Spitzbarth and infielder/outfielder Mike Garzillo. Spitzbarth was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the fifth round of the 2016 MLB Draft and has spent the last two seasons pitching for their Class-A affiliate, the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Garzillo was a 10th-round pick of the San Francisco Giants in 2015 and spent last season with their Class-A affiliate, the Augusta Greenjackets
