Founded in 2006, the Allegan Tigers Girls basketball team is a non-profit youth organization dedicated to providing girls in grades 3-8 the opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball in a positive and supportive environment. The Tigers are committed to teaching LIFE LESSONS such as responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for others through the game of basketball

The Allegan Tigers Girls Basketball team is open to girls in grades 3-8 who live in or attend school in the Allegan public school District. The team is divided into two divisions: Division I (grades 3-5) and Division II (grades 6-8). Each division plays an eight-game regular season schedule followed by a single-elimination tournament.
