Archbishop Hannan High School

Archbishop Hannan high school is a private, all-male Roman Catholic high school in Covington, Louisiana. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans. Founded in 1965, Hannan was the first archdiocesan high school established in the New Orleans metropolitan area in over 40 years. The school is named for Archbishop Francis J. Hannan, D.D., the third Archbishop of New Orleans (1952-1965).

Team History

The Archbishop Hannan boys basketball team has a long and storied history. The team was founded in 1969 and has been one of the most successful programs in Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) history. The team has won five State Championships three Regional Championships and one National Championship The Archbishop Hannan boys Basketball team is also a five-time Louisiana Sportswriters Association (LSWA) State Champions

Game Results

The Archbishop Hannan Hawks boys basketball team recently played three games, winning two and losing one. The first game was against St. Augustine on December 12th, which the Hawks won with a score of 60-52. The second game was against De la Salle on December 15th, which the Hawks also won with a score of 64-49. The third game was against Jesuit on December 19th, which the Hawks lost with a score of 68-62.
