In the 2017-2018 season the Terriers had a record of 21 wins and 11 losses. They finished the season in 4th place in the Patriot League They made it to the semi-finals of the Patriot League tournament where they lost to Bucknell University.

The Boston University Terriers men’s basketball team represents Boston University in the 2017-2018 NCAA Division I men’s Basketball Season The Terriers, led by Head coach Joe Jones, play their home games at Case Gymnasium as members of the Patriot League.
The 2017-2018 Boston University men’s basketball team finished the season with an overall record of 15-17, and a conference record of 9-9. The Terriers finished in a tie for 5th place in the Patriot League Standings The Terriers qualified for the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since the 2014-2015 season. They lost in the Quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament to eventual tournament champion Bucknell.
2017-2018 Future Outlook
The Boston University Terriers basketball team is coming off a strong 2017-2018 season in which they finished with a record of 21-13. They are poised to build on that success in the upcoming 2018-2019 season with a talented and experienced core of players returning. The Terriers should be competitive in the NCAA Tournament and could make a run to the Sweet Sixteen or beyond.
2017-2018 Conclusion
The Boston University Terriers Basketball team ended their 2017-2018 season with a disappointing record of 12-20. This was a big drop from their previous season’s record of 21-13. The Terriers struggled throughout the season, especially in conference play where they only won 8 games out of 18.
