The 2013-14 season was again shortened due to another labour dispute which delayed the start of the season by two months. As a result, each team played 28 games instead of 32 . The Breakers finished 2nd place with a record of 22 wins and 6 losses . Unfortunately , they lost to Perth Wildcats in grand final series .
