Marshall, who is in his fourth year at the helm of the program, has led the team to unprecedented success. In his first season, the team went 20-10 and qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III tournament. The following year, they finished 24-8 and won the NJCAA Division III championship.

Under Marshall’s tutelage, the team has continued to improve. Last season, they finished 28-5 and were ranked #1 in the NJCAA Division III poll for most of the season. They ultimately fell short of their goal of winning another National Championship but with most of their key players returning this season, they are poised to make another run at it.

The team has four players who have been named to the All-American Team two players who have been named to the All-Region team, and one player who has been named to the All-Tournament team.

The team’s leading scorer is sophomore guard D’Andre Ferby, who averaged 18 points per game last season. Ferby was named to the All-American team and was named the Most Valuable Player of the NJCAA Division I tournament.

They won their conference championship and made it to the semi-finals of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament The team is losing some Key Players to graduation, but with a solid core of returners and some promising new recruits, the future looks bright for the Bobcats.

The team will be led by returning guards Mike Evans and Jamel Horton. Both were key contributors to last year’s success and will be looking to build on that this season.
