The CSF Titans basketball team is one of the top collegiate basketball teams in the nation. In the 2017 to 2018 season, they had a record of 27 wins and 7 losses. As of December 18, 2018, they have a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. The Titans play their home games at the Titan Gymnasium on the campus of California State University Fullerton. The team is currently coached by Dedrique Taylor.

The Titans have made 11 NCAA tournament appearances. Their first appearance was in 1978, where they lost in the first round to UNLV. Their most recent appearance was in 2017, where they lost in the first round to Arkansas. In total, the Titans have won four NCAA Tournament games.

Rivalries

Times and television have been released for four of CSFFullerton men’s basketball’s non-conference games, including rivalry contests against UC Irvine and Long Beach State

The Titans will open the season at UCI on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., before hosting LBSU the following Saturday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPN3 as part of the Big West Conference’s partnership with the network.

CSF returns to action on Nov. 17 with a road game at San Diego before hosting Oregon State on Nov. 21 in the final game of the season-opening five-game homestand. The times and television information for those two games will be announced at a later date.

Game highlights

The Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team will open the 2019-20 season at home against Concordia on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in Titan Gym.

The Titans will play a total of 27 games this season, including 14 at home, 12 on the road and one at a neutral site. Fullerton will play non-conference games against teams from the Big West Conference the Mountain West Conference, the West Coast Conference and the Southland Conference

In conference play Fullerton will face each of the other nine schools in the Big West Conference twice, once at home and once on the road. The Titans begin conference play on Saturday, Dec. 28 when they travel to UC Santa Barbara for a game that will be televised on ESPNU.

There have been many alumni updates lately, but the most recent is that the Fullerton men’s basketball team is scheduled to play an exhibition game against Concordia on Nov. 6 at Titan Gym.

Recently, the Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team has been in the news for their on-court successes. The team has had a strong season so far, with a record of 17-4 as of January 28th. This includes an impressive 11-1 record at home. The team is currently second in the Big West Conference behind only UC Irvine.

The strong play of the team has been led by guard Khalil Ahmad, who was recently named the Big West Conference Player of the Week. In three games last week, Ahmad averaged 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game He had a season-high 27 points in a win against UC Riverside on January 17th.
