Standings

The CSI basketball schedule is now available, and it’s packed with tons of great matchups! Here’s what you need to know about the standings:

As of right now, the top four teams in the league are the Warriors, the Raptors, the Celtics, and the Bucks. The Warriors have been dominant all season long but the Raptors have been slowly creeping up on them and could potentially challenge them for the top spot. The Celtics and Bucks are both having great seasons as well, so it will be interesting to see how they fare against each other in the playoffs.

The draft order is determined by reverse order of finish for the previous season. The first 14 picks of the draft belong to the teams that did not make the playoffs, while the remaining 16 are assigned to the playoff teams in inverse order of their playoff records.

The Draft Lottery system was implemented in 1985 to give teams with the worst records a greater chance of obtaining one of the Top Picks in the draft. In this system,Ping pong balls are used to determine a Draft Lottery drawing order among all non-playoff teams. Currently,the three worst teams have a 14 percent chance at winning the first overall pick, while the team with the best record has only a 0.5 percent chance to win it.
