The team continued to find success under Head Coach Mike Weathers in the 1990s and 2000s. Weathers guided the team to eight conference championships and 12 NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the College World Series in 2005.

The team’s most recent period of success began under Head coach Troy Morrell in 2013. Morrell has led the team to five conference championships and six NCAA tournament appearances, including trips to the College World Series in 2016 and 2018. Under Morrell’s leadership, CU Boulder baseball has established itself as one of the premier programs in the country.

The 2017 Season

The 2017 CU Boulder Baseball Team was one of the most successful in recent years The team finished the season with a record of 31-25 and made it to the NCAA tournament This was the first time in program history that the team had made it to the tournament. The team’s success was due in part to the great play of its seniors, who led the way all season. The 2018 Season
