Dwu Women’s Basketball Schedule
The DWU women’s Basketball team has released its schedule for the upcoming season The schedule includes games against some of the top teams in the NAIA, as well as several exhibition games. The team will also play in two tournaments during the season.
The season will begin on October 27th with an exhibition game against Mount Marty The regular season will then begin on November 3rd with a game against Presentation College. DWU will then play Concordia University on November 10th.
The next few weeks will see the team playing several NAIA opponents, including Bellevue University, Midland University and Dordt College They will also play in tournaments at Jamestown College and York College

Their leading scorer is sophomore guard Olivia Smith, who is averaging 15 points per game Sophomore forward Madison Gleason is second on the team in scoring, averaging 12 points per game
Freshman guard Abby Hansen leads the team in steals, with 2.5 per game. Hansen is also averaging 8.5 points per game
The Wolves are coached by Frank Smith.

The Dwu Women’s Basketball team had a great season! Here are some highlights from their games:
-In their opening game, the Dwu Women’s basketball team defeated their opponent 88-64. It was a great way to start off the season!
-In their second game, the Dwu Women’s basketball team faced a tough opponent, but they ultimately prevailed with a score of 74-66.
-In their third game, the Dwu Women’s basketball team had another close game but they came out on top with a final score of 79-77.
-In their fourth game, the Dwu Women’s basketball team won again, this time with a score of 92-64. They were really starting to heat up!
-In their fifth game, the Dwu Women’s Basketball team took care of business with a convincing victory of 98-72.
-In their sixth game, the Dwu Women’s Basketball Team won yet again, this time with a score of 86-74. They were really rolling now!
-The seventh and final game of the season was another close one, but the Dwu Women’s Basketball team came out on top once again with a final score of 80-76. They ended the season with an impressive record of 7-0!

The Tigers open the season on Tuesday, October 29th against Presentation College. The home opener is set for Friday, November 1st against Mount Marty College
The DWU Women’s Basketball team finished the 18-19 season with a record of 21-9 overall and 15-7 in NSIC play. The Tigers qualified for the NSIC Women’s Basketball Tournament for the fourth straight year and advanced to the semifinal round for the second consecutive season.
