McNulty joins Baker and Sorrentine after spending last season as an Assistant Coach at Stetson University. Prior to his time at Stetson, McNulty was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Rollins College, for four seasons.

In the frontcourt, Eckerd is anchored by senior center Michael Taylor. Taylor, who stands at 6’10”, averaged 9 points and 8 rebounds per game this season while blocking 2 shots per game. He is joined by junior forward Malik Mays, who added 7 points and 5 rebounds per game

Eckerd also has a talented group of players coming off the bench, led by sophomore guard Stephon Duncan. Duncan averaged 8 points per game while shooting 42 percent from three-point range. He was named to the all-conference second team.

Thompson is one of the many fans who have helped make Eckerd’s home court the Radcliffe Gymnasium, one of the most intimidating places to play in Division II.

“It’s electric,” said Eckerd head coach Chris pulsipher. “There’s nothing like it in Division II.”

Pulsipher said he and his team feed off of the energy from the fans, and that it’s one of the things that makes Eckerd such a special place to play basketball

“We have the best fans in Division II,” he said. “And they’re only going to get better as our program continues to improve.”
