The Schedule

The 2020-2021 season will feature several changes for the Georgia basketball team The most significant of which is the switch to a conference only schedule. This was done in order to reduce costs and travel during the pandemic. Additionally, the SEC has expanded its conference to include Missouri and Texas A&M. As a result, each team will play the other fourteen teams in the conference at least once, with divisional opponents playing each other twice.

Georgia will open its season at home against Kentucky on December 29th. The Bulldogs will then have a brief break for New Year’s before resuming their schedule with a road game at Auburn on January 2nd. From there, Georgia will alternate between home and away games until the end of February. The Bulldogs’ final regular season game will be against Vanderbilt on March 6th.

The SEC tournament is set to begin on March 10th and will be held in Nashville, Tennessee. Georgia is currently scheduled to play Arkansas in the first round of the tournament.
