The Georgia State Basketball Schedule for the 2019-2020 season is here, and the Panthers are looking to build on their success from last year. Head Coach Ron Hunter and his team will be looking to make a run at the Sun Belt Conference title, and they’ll have a tough road ahead of them.

Georgia State will open up the season on November 5th at home against Alabama A&M. They’ll then hit the road for a tough three-game stretch, taking on Clemson, Wichita State and Marquette. The Panthers will return home for a December 1st matchup against in-state rival Georgia Southern before hitting the road again for games against South Carolina and Memphis.

After returning home for a game against Appalachian State on December 15th, the Panthers will travel to Las Vegas to take on UNLV in the Rebels’ first game in their new arena. Georgia State will then close out their non-Conference Schedule with five straight home games against Davidson, Kennesaw State Jacksonville State Florida Gulf Coast and USC Upstate

The Sun Belt Conference schedule will begin on January 2nd when the Panthers travel to take on Arkansas-Little Rock. They’ll then have a three-game homestand against UT Arlington, Louisiana-Monroe, and Texas State before hitting the road again for games at Coastal Carolina and Troy.

The Panthers will then return home for five straight games, hosting South Alabama Kansas State UTSA,UT Arlington,and Louisiana before closing out the regular season on the road against Texas State and Appalachian State

A look at the Georgia State Panthers’ non-conference schedule

The Georgia State men’s basketball team announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season on Wednesday, and it includes some tough tests for the Panthers.

The schedule is highlighted by games against ACC foe Wake Forest as well as Big Ten foe Rutgers. The Panthers will also face off against in-state rivals Georgia and Georgia Tech as well as Furman and Wright State

The Georgia State Panthers’ conference schedule

The Georgia State Panthers’ conference schedule has been released, and it looks like they will have some tough games ahead. They will be opening up against the defending conference champions, the Appalachian State Mountaineers on January 3. Other tough games include a road game against the Furman Paladins on January 17 and a Home game against the Wofford Terriers on February 7.

The Georgia State men’s basketball team’s non-conference schedule has been announced, and the Panthers will have plenty of chances to make a splash early on.

In addition to games against in-state rivals Georgia and Georgia Tech the Panthers will also face off against some stiff non-conference competition in the form of Marquette, Texas Tech and Wichita State

The defending Sun Belt conference tournament champions will play their first four games of the season away from home, including a Nov. 12 matchup at Memphis.

The home opener is set for Nov. 19 against South Alabama and will be followed by three more Home Games including a visit from in-state rival Georgia Southern on Nov. 26.

Georgia State will play 18 conference games, nine at home and nine on the road. The Sun Belt conference tournament will be held March 11-14 at campus sites with the top four teams qualifying.
