Notable Mention – Top NBA Play from 12/3
In a game filled with great individual efforts and team play, one particular play stands out as the best from last night. Coming in at number one on our list is LeBron James’ game winning fadeaway against the Portland Trail Blazers
James, who is often lauded for his clutch performances, came up big once again last night. With the game tied at 105 and only seconds remaining in overtime, James received the ball on the right wing. He then proceeded to drive to his left, creating space between himself and his defender, before elevated and fading away for the game-winning shot
The execution of this play was impressive, but what made it truly great was the context in which it occurred. This was not only a clutch shot to win an overtime thriller, but it also came against a Portland team that many believe could be a serious title contender this season. For LeBron to hit this type of shot against such stiff competition only cements his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time.
