As the 2020 NBA season enters its final stretch, it was announced today that the next installment in the NBA 2K series will feature WNBA gameplay for the first time.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer fans the opportunity to play as their favorite NBA Stars in NBA 2K22,” said Jason Argent, Senior Vice President of basketball operations at 2K. “The WNBA is home to some of the best athletes in the world, and we can’t wait for players to experience their skills and style of play in our game.”

NBA 2K22 is set to release in Fall 2021 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch PC, and Google Stadia.
