Tatum was practically unstoppable during summer league play, averaging 23 points and seven rebounds per game He showed off an improved jump shot and a better understanding of how to use his 6’8” frame to create space Tatum also displayed a high level of maturity, something that will serve him well as he enters his second season in the league.
Marcus Smart
Smart put up solid numbers across the board during Summer League averaging 16 points, four assists, and four rebounds per game He also shot an impressive 50 percent from three-point range Smart looked very comfortable on the court and should be in for a big season with the Celtics.
De’Aaron Fox
Fox was electrifying during Summer League averaging 17 points and seven assists per game He showed off his speed and quickness, which will make him tough to defend at the point guard position. Fox also showed that he has improved his Jump Shot since last season and should be able to score at will in the paint.

As has become his trademark, Kawhi came up with a huge defensive play when his team needed it most. With the Spurs down by two in the dying seconds of their game against the Charlotte Hornets Leonard stripped Kemba Walker of the ball and then hit a game-winning jumper at the buzzer. It was an incredible individual effort that helped his team get the win.
Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz
Gobert continued to show why he’s one of the best defenders in the league with a number of stellar defensive plays during Summer League action. He had several key blocks, including one on Portland Trail Blazers’ center Meyers Leonard that preserved a win for the Jazz. He also had a critical charge taken late in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers that helped his team seal the victory.
Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat
Adebayo was all over the court for the Heat during Summer League making plays on both ends of the court. He had several impressive blocks, including one on Lonzo Ball that sent Ball sprawling to the ground. He also had a number of key rebounds, including one late in their game against the Los Angeles Lakers that helped his team get the win.
