The best of the season so far

While the regular season is still young, there are a few teams and players that have really stood out above the rest. Here are the best of the best (and worst of the worst) of the NBA season so far.

The best teams:
1. The Golden State Warriors are, quite simply, the best team in the NBA. They have a league-best record of 15-2, and they’re coming off a 108-95 win over the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers
2. The Houston Rockets have been red-hot as of late, winning 11 straight games to improve their record to 14-4. They’re currently second in the Western Conference behind only the Warriors.
3. The Toronto Raptors have been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season They’re currently third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 13-5.
4. The Minnesota Timberwolves have also been a pleasant surprise this season. They’re currently sitting at fourth place in the West with a record of 12-6.
5..The Boston Celtics rounds out the top five teams in our power rankings They’re currently second in the East with a solid record of 13-5..

And now for the bottom five:
1. The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NBA this season. They currently have a league-Worst Record of 8-13 and sit at last place in the Western Conference standings.
2..The Memphis Grizzlies are also near thTexasarybbottom offistandingss withat an 8w--15 mark..Thiss is not what was expected from them coming into this season..
3..Thye Atlanta Hawks join these two teams infy7iour grpubeofuw totalfailuresas they also own an 8--15 record…They entered this year with high hopes but haven’s been able to match those early expectations.. 4..Tied for fourth place in our Power Rankings are two teams that were supposed to compete for playoff spots this season: The New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings…Both teams are floundering with recordso9f – 14 and will need to turn things around quickly if they want any chance at making noise come playoff time.. 5..And last but not least, we havethe Chicago Bulls who round out our bottom five teams…They’ve been ravaged by injuries all season long and own an abysmal 7--16 record as a result…

The worst of the season so far

There have been some real disappointments in the NBA this season. Here are some of the worst:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a mess. They fired their Head Coach after just ten games, and they’ve been floundering ever since. They’re currently sitting at the bottom of the Central Division with a record of 5-17.

The Los Angeles Lakers were expected to be much improved this season, but they’ve been one of the biggest letdowns in the league. They’re currently 9-15 and sitting in last place in the Pacific Division

The Houston Rockets have also been a huge disappointment. They were supposed to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference but they’re currently 11-14 and sitting in ninth place.

The most surprising teams

There have been a lot of surprises in the first half of the NBA season Some teams have outperformed expectations, while others have fallen short. Here’s a look at the most surprising teams, both good and bad.

The most surprising team in the NBA so far has been the Orlando Magic After a disappointing 2017-18 Season the Magic made some changes to their roster and Coaching Staff They brought in a new coach, Steve Clifford, and added some new players, including forward Jonathan Isaac and center Mohamed Bamba. The results have been impressive, as the Magic currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference at 26-9. They’re also playing some great defense, ranking second in the NBA in defensive efficiency

Another team that has exceeded expectations is the Detroit Pistons The Pistons made some big changes over the summer, hiring head coach Dwane Casey and trading for forward Blake Griffin Griffin has been an excellent addition, averaging 24.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game The Pistons are currently 22-14 and sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

On the other hand, there have been some disappointing teams as well. The biggest disappointment has been the Boston Celtics who were expected to be one of the best teams in the NBA this season after reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last year. However, they’ve struggled with injuries and inconsistencies all season and currently sit at 20-17, good for seventh place in the Conference Standings Another team that has underperformed is the Minnesota Timberwolves who were expected to make a run at a playoff spot after adding Jimmy Butler last offseason. However, they’ve struggled with chemistry issues all season and currently sit at 19-18, outside of playoff contention in ninth place in the Western Conference standings

The most disappointing teams

The NBA season is now a quarter of the way done, and some teams are starting to separate themselves from the pack. While there are a few surprises at the top of the standings, there are also some teams that have been major disappointments. Here is a look at the most disappointing teams so far this season:

The Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to be one of the best teams in the East after acquiring Lebron James in Free agency However, they have been one of the worst teams in the league, with a record of 5-20. They have been plagued by injuries, and their young core players have not developed as hoped.

The New York Knicks were also expected to be better this season with the addition of rookie Kristaps Porzingis However, they have struggled mightily, and currently have a record of 8-17. They have been hurt by poor play from their starters, and their lack of depth has been exposed.

The Los Angeles Lakers were supposed to be much improved with the return of Kobe Bryant and the additions of Roy Hibbert and Lou Williams However, they have struggled mightily on both ends of the court, and currently have a record of 7-18. Injuries have also been an issue for them, as several Key Players have missed significant time.

The best players

The NBA season is now one-quarter done, and it’s been an eventful ride. We’ve seen some amazing individual performances, thrilling team accomplishments, and–of course–a few heartbreaking losses. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the best and worst moments of the season so far.

The best players:
It’s impossible to talk about the best of the season without mentioning Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks He’s been absolutely dominant, averaging 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. He’s leading the Bucks to the best record in the league, and they look like a real title contender. Other standouts include Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets

On the other side of things, there have been a few disappointing performances from some big names. Jimmy Butler of the Philadelphia 76ers has been a shell of his former self, averaging just 18.2 points per game–his lowest since his rookie season. Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics has also been underwhelming, averaging just 19.4 points per game–his lowest since his second year in the league. And finally, Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans has been a major disappointment–not because he’s playing poorly (he’s averaging 27.7 points and 11 rebounds per game), but because he’s missed significant time due to injury (he’s only played in 17 games so far).

The worst players

The NBA season is nearly a month old, and there have been plenty of surprises. Some players have exceeded expectations while others have fallen flat. Here’s a look at the best and worst players of the season so far.

The Worst:
--Markelle Fultz Philadelphia 76ers
The number one overall pick has been a huge disappointment. He’s averaged just 4.5 points and 2.3 assists in nine games, and he’s looked lost on the court. His shooting has been especially bad, as he’s made just 19 percent of his field goal attempts. The Sixers have been forced to play him off the bench, and it’s tough to see him turning things around anytime soon.

-Dennis Smith Jr., Dallas Mavericks
The Mavericks had high hopes for Smith coming into the season, but he’s been a major disappointment. He’s averaging just 13 points on 37 percent shooting, and he doesn’t seem to be improving at all. His defense has also been very poor, as he’s often gotten exploited by opposing guards. The Mavericks are reportedly looking to trade him, and it’s hard to blame them.

-Luke Kennard, Detroit Pistons
The Pistons drafted Kennard with the hope that he would be a knock-down shooter, but so far that hasn’t been the case. He’s shooting just 33 percent from three-point range and 41 percent from the field overall. He also doesn’t seem to be playing with much confidence, which is understandable given how badly he’s struggled. The Pistons will need him to turn things around if they want to compete for a playoff spot in the East.

The best games

There have been some great games so far this season. Here are some of the best:
-The Golden State Warriors vs the Houston Rockets was an instant classic, with the Warriors winning in overtime.
-The Los Angeles Lakers had a statement win against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers beating them by 34 points.
-The Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers in a close game that came down to the wire.

The worst games

The NBA season is now more than a month old, and we’ve seen some great games and some not-so-great games. Here’s a look at the best and worst of the season so far:

The best games:

1. Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets – This was an instant classic, with the two best teams in the league going head-to-head in a thrilling game that came down to the wire. The Rockets eventually won in overtime, but both teams put on a show.

2. Los Angeles Clippers vs. Portland Trail Blazers – Another great game between two Western Conference powerhouses. The Clippers came out on top in a close one, but both teams played their hearts out.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Philadelphia 76ers – This was a great matchup between two young teams full of talent The Thunder won in overtime, but the 76ers put up a good fight and showed that they’re a team to be reckoned with.

The worst games:

1. Charlotte Hornets vs. Atlanta Hawks – This was a snoozefest from start to finish, with neither team playing particularly well. The final score was 101-91 in favor of the Hornets, but it felt like everyone lost this game.

2. Brooklyn Nets vs. New York Knicks – These two teams are not good, and it showed in this ugly game where neither team could get anything going offensively. The Nets Won by a final score of 87-79, but it wasn’t pretty by any stretch of the imagination.

The most interesting storylines

It’s been a wild first few weeks of the NBA season We’ve seen a team fire its Head Coach another lose a star player to injury, and a whole lot of drama in between. With so much happening, it can be tough to keep track of it all. So we asked our NBA experts to weigh in on the most interesting storylines of the season so far. Here’s what they had to say.

The most interesting storylines
1. The firing of Head coach Luke Walton
2. The Boston Celtics’ early-season struggles
3. The return of Gordon Hayward
4. The emergence of Luka Doncic
5. The injury to Stephen Curry

The least interesting storylines

There have been some great storylines in the NBA this season, but there have also been some that have been a bit less interesting. Here are a few of the least interesting storylines of the season so far.

The first one is the Houston Rockets They have been one of the best teams in the league all season, but they just haven’t been that interesting to watch. Maybe it’s because they don’t have any true superstars on their team, or maybe it’s because they play in a smaller market, but they just haven’t captured the attention of the NBA world the way other teams have.

Another storyline that has been a bit underwhelming is LeBron James’ return to Cleveland. There was so much hype surrounding his return, but the Cavs have failed to live up to expectations and currently find themselves outside of the Playoff Picture LeBron has looked great at times, but the Cavs as a whole have just been disappointing.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors have also been a bit underwhelming this season. They came into the season as massive favorites to win the title, but they’ve looked vulnerable at times and currently sit second in the Western Conference behind the Spurs. They’re still one of the best teams in the league, but they haven’t quite lived up to expectations yet.
