The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Basketball Rankings are in, and the top 5 players in the nation have been named!

The first spot goes to junior guard Drew Sherwood of Amherst College. Sherwood is averaging22.4 points per game and has led the Lord Jeffs to a 21-1 record so far this season.

Coming in at number 2 is sophomore center Jesse Sutherland of the University of St. Thomas (UST). Sutherland is averaging a double-double with 18.9 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for the Tommies, who are 20-2 on the year.

Rounding out the top 3 is senior forward Braden Woolley of Marist College. Woolley is averaging 18.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for the Red Foxes who are 19-3 on the season.

Senior guard Mike Conley Jr. of Williams College comes in at number 4 on the list. Conley is averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Ephs, who are 20-2 on the year.

And coming in at number 5 is junior forward JP Wunderlichof Colby College . Wunderlich is averaging 16 -9 points and 6 -7 rebounds per game for the Mules, who are 20-1on -the season .
