Player Profiles
The Ocean View high school boys Basketball team is made up of talented young players from all over the district. You can learn more about them below.
– Forward Kyle Jones is a senior and has been on the team for four years. He is one of the team’s top scorers and rebounders.
– Guard Mason Thomas is a junior and has been on the team for two years. He is a good shooter and defender.
– Center Andrew Johnson is a sophomore and has been on the team for one year. He is tall and athletic, and he provides a strong presence in the middle of the court.
Coaching Staff
The Coaching Staff for the Ocean View high school basketball team is made up of three coaches. The Head Coach is responsible for the overall direction of the team, while the assistant coaches work with specific players to improve their skills. The team also has a strength and Conditioning Coach to help the players maintain their fitness levels.
Fans
As the season approaches, fans are worried about the team’s performance. The teams’s last game was a big loss, and fans are hoping for a better outcome this season.
Media
The media schedule for the Ocean View high school Basketball team is as follows:
-Tuesday, November 6th: Media Day from 3pm-5pm in the school gym. All players and coaches will be available for interviews and photos.
-Thursday, November 8th: Tip-off Classic game against rival school at 7pm. This game will be televised on the local Sports Network
-Saturday, November 10th: Home game against visiting team at 2pm. This game will be streamed live on the school’s website.
History
Founded in 1957, Ocean View High School is located in the city of Huntington Beach, California. The school’s basketball team has a long and successful history, winning numerous league and State Championships The team is currently coached by Steve clark, who has been at the helm since the early 2000s.
