Hartman’s next step was to attend college at LSU. While there, he played against some of the best competition in the nation and honed his skills. He also gained valuable experience by playing in the prestigious SEC conference.

After college, Hartman was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft. He then began his professional career, working his way through the Cubs’ farm system He eventually made it to the big leagues, where he became a key member of the Cubs’ World Series winning team in 2016.

Ryan Hartman is a pitcher in the minor leagues who is currently in the Chicago White Sox organization. He was drafted by the Sox in the fifth round of the 2013 amateur draft.

Hartman made his professional debut that summer with the Bristol White Sox of the Rookie-level Appalachian League, pitching to a 2.93 ERA over 13 games (seven starts). In 2014, he was promoted to the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League where he compiled a 4-4 record and 3.35 ERA over 25 games (12 starts).
