The team’s history

Seattle Prep basketball is a basketball team located in Seattle, Washington. The team competes in the 4A division of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association The team has won two State Championships in 2010 and 2012.

The team is coached by Collin Brown, who has been with the team since 2009. Brown led the team to their first state championship in 2010. He was named 4A Coach of the Year by the Seattle Times in 2010 and 2012.

The team’s starting lineup for the 2017-2018 season includes seniors Cameron Cisek, Michael Porter Jr., and Keauntea Bankhead; junior Miles Reynolds; and sophomore Jesse Wade.

The team’s primary rivals are Garfield High School and Rainier Beach high school

The 2018-2019 Seattle Prep Basketball team consists of 12 members. The starting lineup includes 3 seniors, 2 juniors, and 1 sophomore. The team’s leading scorer is Senior captain Jamal Murray, who is averaging 19 points per game The other two seniors in the Starting Lineup are shooting guard Isaac Johnson and small forward Nate Robinson Johnson is averaging 10 points per game while Robinson is averaging 8. The two juniors in the starting lineup are point guard Jason Terry and center Marcus Camby. Terry is averaging 7 points and 6 assists per game while Camby is averaging 9 points and 8 rebounds per game The lone sophomore in the starting lineup is Power Forward Kevin Garnett, who is averaging 11 points and 7 rebounds per game

The 6 players on the team’s bench are all freshmen and include shooting guard Kobe Bryant small forward Lebron James point guard Chris Paul center Shaquille O’Neal, power forward Tim Duncan and center Dwight Howard These players are averaging a combined 20 points per game and provide a significant spark for the team when they enter the game.

The team’s Head Coach

Seattle Prep Basketball is one of the most successful teams in the state of Washington. The team’s head coach is Mike Hopkins who has been with the team since 2006. Coach Hopkins has led the team to nine state championships including four in a row from 2013 to 2016.

Seattle Prep’s basketball team is currently coached by Michael Kelly and his Assistant coaches are Luke Mondy and Matt Bowman. The team has been successful in recent years winning the state championship in 2016 and 2018.
