Shawnee high school Basketball – The Road to State

In 1938, Shawnee high school won the very first Ball State championship in Oklahoma history. The following year, they were back to defend their title. Shawnee high school basketball was on a roll!

The team went on to win State Championships in 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945. They were finally dethroned in 1946 by Tulsa Central High School Shawnee high school would have to wait until 1953 to taste victory again.

The team went on to win state championships in 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, and 1959. In 1960, they were once again dethroned by Tulsa Central high school Shawnee high school would have to wait until 1963 to taste victory again.

Shawnee High School finally won another state championship in basketball in 1967. The team went on to win State Championships in 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976. In 1977, they were once again dethroned by Tulsa Central high school

It wasn’t until 1988 that Shawnee High School won another state championship in basketball. The team went on to win State Championships in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 19931994199519961997199819992000200120022003200420052006200720082009201020112012201320142015201620172018201920202021…and counting!

It was a hard-fought battle, but Shawnee High School came out on top, winning the State basketball championship! The game was close throughout, but Shawnee’s defense held strong and they ultimately came out victorious. This is the first State Championship for the school in basketball, and the students and faculty are all celebrating.

It was a close game but in the end Shawnee High School came out on top and were crowned the state champs! The team and their fans celebrated their victory with a parade through the streets of Shawnee. The community came out to support their team and show their pride. It was a day to remember for everyone involved.

The student section is often the loudest and proudest part of the fan base. They are responsible for leading cheers, making signs, and generally creating a festive environment. The students at Shawnee High School have been known to be particularly creative and enthusiastic.

In order to achieve the level of success that Shawnee high school basketball has in recent years it takes more than just talented players. It takes a complete team effort, with each player doing their part and working together towards a common goal. But none of this would be possible without the leadership and guidance of the coaches.

The Head Coach of Shawnee high school basketball is Jeff Highsmith. He has been with the team for six years and has led them to two State Championships Coach Highsmith is known for his intense pre-game speeches, which often fire up his players and give them the motivation they need to win.

Assistant Coach Mike Arnold has been with the team for four years. He is responsible for developing game strategies and scouting opponents. His knowledge of the game and ability to make adjustments on the fly have been instrumental in Shawnee’s success.

Lastly, there is strength and Conditioning Coach Steve Johnson He ensures that all players are in tip-top shape so that they can perform at their best during games. Coach Johnson’s dedication to his job has helped reduce injuries and keep players fresh throughout the long season.

Without all three of these coaches, Shawnee High School would not be the Basketball powerhouse that it is today. They each play a vital role in the team’s success, and they deserve a lot of credit for all that they have accomplished.

Shawnee High School Basketball – The Players

The Shawnee High School Basketball team is made up of five starting players and six bench players The starting players are seniors, Luke Adams and Jason Barker, juniors, Tyler Brown and Levi Garcia, and sophomore, Brady Stevens. The bench players are seniors, Alex Johnson and Zachary Smith, juniors Jake Turner and Miles Wilson, and sophomores Owen Mitchell and Luke Sanchez.

Shawnee High School Basketball – The Future

The Shawnee High school basketball team has a long and successful history. The team has won numerous state championships and is widely considered one of the best high school basketball teams in the country. The future looks bright for Shawnee High School basketball with a large group of talented young players coming up through the ranks.

In 1992, the Shawnee high school Wolves Basketball team made history by becoming the first and only team from Oklahoma to win a National Championship They finished the season with a perfect 32-0 record, and their star player Jimmy Jackson, was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.

The Shawnee Wolves basketball team has a long tradition of success. They have won numerous state championships and have produced many talented players who have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional level. The Wolves are one of the most respected programs in the country, and their accomplishments have helped put Oklahoma on the map as a Ball State

The Shawnee High School basketball team are State Champions! This is the school’s first ever State title in basketball, and the team couldn’t be more thrilled. The players and coaches worked hard all season long and it has paid off in a big way. Congratulations to the whole team on this amazing accomplishment!
