Siena Basketball is a collegiate basketball team that competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Basketball Championship The team is currently a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

The team’s home games are played at Times Union Center in Albany, New York. Siena has appeared in five NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournaments their best results came in 1989 and 1999 when they advanced to the Round of 32. In 1989, Siena was one of only sixteen #15 seeds to beat a #2 seed when they defeated Ohio State 77-72.

The Siena Saints have had ten head coaches since the program’s founding in 1951. The current Head Coach is Jimmy Patsos, who was hired on April 23, 2013.

2. Senior forward Brett Bisping is the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 14.8 points per game He is also a very good rebounder, averaging 8.2 rebounds per game

3.(tie) Junior guard/forward Marquis Wright and freshman guard Donte McGill are both very good scorers, averaging 11.5 and 11 points per game respectively. They are also both solid defenders and have the ability to score in a variety of ways.

4.(tie) Senior forward Percy Gibson and junior forward Javon Bess are both Key Players for the Saints. Gibson is a versatile player who can score, rebound and play defense while Bess is a talented shooter who can stretch the floor on offense.
