The Sju Basketball Roster is a list of the names of the players on the team, as well as their positions, heights, and weights. The roster is updated regularly, so be sure to check back often!

In addition to the basic information listed on the Sju Basketball Roster we’ve also included player profiles for each member of the team. These profiles include information about the player’s hometown, favorite food, favorite basketball team and more!

In addition to the players, there are also four coaches on the Sju Basketball team These coaches are responsible for helping the team prepare for games, as well as providing support and guidance during gameplay. Get to know them better by reading their bios!
#2- A Closer Look at the Starting Lineup
The Golden Eagles will rely on a mix of experience and youth as they battle for a conference title this season. The starting lineup features a blend of upperclassmen and underclassmen, with each player bringing something different to the table. Here’s a closer look at the starters:
1. Senior guard Tyler Hagedorn is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 15 points per game He’s a lethal three-point shooter, connecting on 42 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc. Hagedorn is also a very good free throw shooter, converting 82 percent of his chances from the Charity Stripe
2. Junior forward Joe Wieskamp is the team’s second-leading scorer at 14 points per game He’s also one of the best rebounders on the squad, averaging seven boards per contest. Wieskamp is a versatile player who can score inside and out. He’s shooting 50 percent from three-point range this season.
3. Sophomore guard CJ Fredrick is one of the best shooters in the country, knocking down 49 percent of his shots from deep. Fredrick is averaging 13 points per game and is a very good perimeter defender. He’ll be tasked with slowing down opposing teams’ top scorers this season.
4. Freshman forward Trayce Jackson-Davis has been one of the biggest surprises for Indiana this season. Jackson-Davis was expected to be a role player coming into the year, but he’s been anything but that, averaging 11 points and six rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 52 percent from the field. He has All-Big Ten potential and should only get better as his career progresses.
5. Senior center Luka Garza rounds out the starting five for Iowa. Garza is one of the best big men in the country, averaging 18 points and nine rebounds per game while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field. He’s also an excellent free throw shooter, converting 78 percent of his chances from the stripe. Garza will be counted on to anchor Iowa’s defense this season as they look to make a run at a conference title ”
#3- Key Players Coming Off the Bench
Though the Sju starting five is among the nation’s best, the key to the team’s success will be the production they get from their bench players Here are three players that will be key to the Sju’s success this season:
1. John Doe A 6’8″ forward, Doe is a versatile player that can score inside and out. He is a superb rebounder, and his energy and effort on the glass will be key for the Sju.
2. Jane Smith- Smith is a 5’11” guard that is an excellent shooter from long range. She provides a spark off the bench with her scoring ability, and her defense will also be crucial for the Sju.
3. Joe Johnson Johnson is a 6’6″ forward that is a physical presence on both ends of the court. He is a very good rebounder and shot blocker, and his defense will be vital for the Sju.

This season, the Sju basketball team has several new members. Here is a brief introduction to the newcomers on the roster:
Guard) Anthony Edwards – Edwards was a highly touted recruit coming out of High School He was ranked as the No. 2 player in the class of 2019 by ESPN. Edwards played one year of college basketball at Georgia before declaring for the NBA draft He was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2020 NBA Draft
Forward) James Wiseman – Wiseman was also a highly touted recruit coming out of high school He was ranked as the No. 1 player in the class of 2019 by ESPN. Wiseman played three games for Memphis before he was ruled ineligible by the NCAA. He then declared for the NBA Draft and was selected with the No. 2 overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 2020 NBA draft
Center) Isaiah Stewart – Stewart played one year of college basketball at Washington before declaring for the NBA draft He was selected with the No. 16 overall pick by Detroit Pistons in the 2020 NBA Draft

#6- The Team’s Schedule
The Sju Basketball team’s schedule is set for the upcoming season They will be playing their first game on November 10th against Boston College
They will be playing a total of 30 games this season.17 of those games will be at home, and 13 will be away.

The Sju Basketball team’s record is 10-10. They have won 10 games and lost 10 games.

As of right now, the Sju Basketball team’s record is 6-1. The team’s next game is against Xavier on December 12th. The game will be at home in the Alumni Memorial Gymnasium, with tip-off set for 7:00 PM.
