The Indians got on the board first in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Sam Dexter hit an RBI double to center field, scoring Andres Muñoz. The Dust Devils answered back in the top of the 3rd when Alan Trejo hit an RBI single to left field scoring Eguy Rosario. Luis Campusano gave the Dust Devils the lead in the top of the 7th inning with an RBI double to left field,scoring Cole Tucker. Yusniel Diaz had a great night at the plate, going 3-4. The Indians will take on the Dust Devils again tomorrow night at 7:05 PM.

The Indians began play as an expansion franchise of the Northwestern League in 1973.
The team has been a farm team for four Major League Baseball (MLB) teams: the Chicago White Sox from 1973 to 1976; the Toronto Blue Jays from 1977 to 1978; the Seattle Mariners from 1979 to 1982; and the Cincinnati Reds from 1983 to 1984. The Indians have won nine league championships: three in the NWL (1986, 1991, 2010), five in the West Coast League (1995, 1999–2002), and one in the Northwest/PCL (2004). They were division champions of their league as recently as 2014.
