*Jaylen Adams – Guard – 6’2″ – 190lbs – Junior
Adams is one of the best guards in the Atlantic 10 Conference, and was named to the All-Conference First Team last season. He is an excellent scorer and shooter, and is also a very good playmaker for his teammates. Adams will be looked to as one of the leaders of the team this season as they look to make a run at the NCAA Tournament

In recent years the Bonnies have been one of the better Defensive Teams in college basketball The team’s Head Coach Mark Schmidt, has emphasized defense and rebounding since taking over the program in 2007. As a result, the Bonnies have had great success, winning 20 or more games in six of Schmidt’s thirteen seasons at the helm.
Offensively, the Bonnies are led by senior guard Jaylen Adams. Adams is one of the best all-around players in College Basketball and he is currently averaging 19.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game Senior forward Matt Mobley is also averaging in double figures for the Bonnies, scoring 17.3 points per game while shooting 39 percent from three-point range
The Bonnies are currently 14-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play They are coming off a big road win over conference rival Davidson and will look to continue their winning ways when they take on Rhode Island on Wednesday night.

The team was led by star player Kyle Lofton, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. The Bonnies will now look to build on this success in the upcoming season

In 2019, the Bonnies made history again by becoming the first team ever to win an NCAA Tournament game as a #12 seed, upsetting #5 seed UCLA.

Marques Johnson: Johnson was a star player for the Bonnies from 1974 to 1977. He was drafted first overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1977 and went on to have a successful 12-year career in the NBA. He was a five-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA First Team in 1979.
Greg Ostertag: Ostertag played for the Bonnies from 1991 to 1995. He was drafted 28th overall by the Sacramento Kings in 1995 and played 11 seasons in the NBA. He was a two-time All-Star and won an NBA Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000.
Andrew Nicholson: Nicholson played for the Bonnies from 2008 to 2012. He was drafted 19th overall by the Orlando Magic in 2012 and has played for several teams over his seven-year NBA Career
