The Stetson baseball team has been busy lately, with a mix of conference and non-conference games. Here are the most recent results:

vs. Rhode Island (W, 10-2)

The Hatters are back in action this weekend with a three-game series at home against Yale. Check out the full schedule here.

Team standings

As of April 9th, the Stetson Hatters are in 1st place in the conference with a record of 20-5.

Team statistics

The 2017 Stetson baseball team finished the season with an overall record of 33-24 and a conference record of 15-9. The team was coached by Steve Trimper, who was in his first season as Head Coach at Stetson. They played their home games at Melching Field in DeLand, Florida.

The Hatters finished the season 3rd in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings. In the A-Sun Tournament, they defeated #6 Jacksonville in the first round before losing to #2 North Florida in the semifinals. They did not receive an invitation to participate in the NCAA tournament

Leading hitters for the 2017 Hatters included Brooks Wilson (0.358 batting average 10 home runs 50 RBI), Austin Bogart (.333 batting average 9 home runs 42 RBI), and Nick Bellorini (.328 batting average 3 home runs 28 RBI). The leading pitchers were Logan Gilbert (9-2, 2.58 ERA), Adam Schaly (7-3, 4.34 ERA), and Mitchell Senger (6-3, 4.50 ERA).
