The UC hockey coaching staff

The UC hockey Coaching Staff is among the most experienced and successful in the country. Headed by Head Coach Mark Osiecki, the staff includes Associate head coach Steve Miller and assistant coaches Mike Eaves and Dan Bylsma.

Osiecki has over 20 years of coaching experience at the collegiate, professional and international levels. He has led teams to conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances, and has served as an Assistant Coach for Team USA at the IIHF World Championships

Miller also has extensive experience coaching at the college, professional and international levels. He has been an assistant coach for Team USA at the IIHF World Championships and has won a Stanley Cup as an assistant coach with the New Jersey Devils

Eaves is a former Head Coach at the University of Wisconsin, where he led the Badgers to a NCAA championship He also has experience coaching at the international level, having served as an assistant coach for Team USA at the IIHF World Championships.

Bylsma is a two-time Stanley Cup winner as a player with the Detroit Red Wings and also won a Stanley Cup as an assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins He has extensive experience coaching at different levels, including serving as Head coach of Team USA’s entry at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship

The UC hockey facilities

The UC hockey facilities are some of the best in the country. The team trains at the on-campus, state-of-the-art Rink Athletic Facility. The rink is one of the largest in Division I college hockey and can seat up to 5,000 fans. The facility also houses a weight room, locker room and training room for the team.
