Guards:
-Ali Dendy: A 5-7 guard from Broken Arrow Oklahoma. Dendy is a versatile player who can shoot and penetrate. She is also a good defender.
-Amber Foster: A 5-8 guard from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Foster is a good shooter and a solid defender. She is expected to be one of the leaders on the team.
-Katie Cramer: A 5-9 guard from Midwest City, Oklahoma. Cramer is a good shooter and a good passer. She will be one of the main ball handlers on the team.

-Taylor Hardeman: A 6-3 forward/post player from Yukon, Oklahoma. Hardeman is an athletic player who can run the floor well. She is also a good rebounder and shot blocker

Guard:
-Kayla Brown: A junior guard, Brown is a transfer from Eastern Oklahoma A&M. She is a talented scorer and an excellent defender.
-Sarah Jones: A senior guard, Jones is a three-point specialist. She has the ability to stretch the defense and open up lanes for her teammates.
--Morgan Williams A freshman guard, Williams is a dynamic playmaker. Shecan score, rebound, and dish out assists. She will be a key contributor this season.

Forward:
-Amber Battle: A senior forward, Battle is a versatile player who can score inside and out. She is a strong rebounder and an excellent defender.
-Jasmine Blackmon: A sophomore forward, Blackmon is an athletic player who can finish around the basket. She is continuing to develop her game and will be a key player off the bench this season.

The Schedule

Uco Women’s Basketball has finalized their schedule for the upcoming season and it is one that promises to be exciting for fans. The team will play thirty games, which is the maximum number allowed by the NCAA. They will open up their season on November 1st against Northeastern State University Their first Home game will be on November 8th against Southwestern Oklahoma State University

The schedule is packed with challenging non-conference games, which will prepare the team for their conference games. They will play ranked teams such as Oklahoma State Texas, Baylor, and Iowa State These are all games that the team is looking forward to and they are confident that they can compete with any team in the country.

The Conference Schedule is just as tough, with games against Oral Roberts Tulsa, and Central Arkansas The team knows that they will have to be at their best to win the conference tournament and make it to the NCAA tournament

The Facilities

The facilities that the team has access to are amazing. The weight room is state of the art and the locker room is beautiful. The court is always kept in pristine condition and the bleachers are comfortable.

The Conference

The conference is one of the most important things to note when it comes to college basketball The Uco women’s basketball team competes in Division I of the Mid-American Conference. The conference is made up of 12 teams that play each other in a double round-robin format. This means that each team plays the other twice, once at home and once on the road. The top four teams in the conference then advance to the MAC Tournament, which is a single-elimination tournament to determine the MAC Champion. The winner of the MAC Tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament

The Competition

Heading into the 2019-20 season the Uco women’s basketball team is one of the most talented and experienced teams in the country. With a roster that features 12 seniors and 11 juniors, the team is poised to make a run at the NCAA Division II national title.

The team is led by senior point guard Taylor Dorsey, who was recently named the preseason player of the year by D2CCA. Dorsey is joined by fellow senior starters Hannah Gillingham (forward), Brianna Johnson (guard), and Alexxus Gilbert (center). The team’s leading scorer from last season, junior guard Madison Lowery, is also back.

This experienced and deep roster will give Uco a chance to compete with any team in the country. The team has already demonstrated their talent with a Big Win over then-#1 ranked Ashland in November.
