The UNCW Seahawks men’s basketball team announced its schedule for the 2019-2020 Season on Wednesday. The Seahawks will open the season on November 5th at home against Virginia Commonwealth University The full schedule is listed below.

The Seahawks are coming off a historic 2018-2019 season in which they won the Colonial Athletic Association regular season title and made their first appearance in the NCAA tournament UNCW will look to build on that success this season with a talented core of returners and a promising group of newcomers.

The UNCW men’s Basketball team is set to release their schedule for the upcoming season The Seahawks will look to defend their regular season title in the Colonial Athletic Association and make a return trip to the NCAA tournament Here are some key dates on the schedule that will impact their season.

UNCW will open up the season at home against Gardner-Webb on November 5th. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other since Gardner-Webb joined the CAA. UNCW will then travel to take on Hofstra, who they defeated in last year’s CAA Championship game The Seahawks will look to avenge their only conference loss from last season when they take on William & Mary at home on December 3rd.

The Seahawks have a tough stretch in early January when they will play four of their five games on the road. This includes a matchup against defending National Champion Virginia on January 6th.
