The UW-Whitewater Baseball schedule A player’s perspective

As a player on the UW-Whitewater Baseball Team I get to see firsthand how our Coaching Staff puts together a competitive schedule that will test us throughout the season.

We usually start our season in late February with a few games down in Florida, which is a great way to get some quality experience against good competition early on. After that, we come back to Wisconsin and play most of our games at home until conference play starts.

Our conference is one of the toughest in Division III baseball so every game is important. We usually have about 30 conference games total, which takes us into early May.

If we’re lucky enough to make the Conference Tournament or even the NCAA tournament those games can go into late May or even early June. So as you can see, our season is a long one!

But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love playing baseball and I’m grateful to be a part of such a great team. Go Warhawks!
